Ordinals and fungible tokens on Bitcoin (BRC-20, Runes) enable something novel: permissionless exchange between two assets, no oracle, with the finality of L1 Bitcoin. Two parties, one transaction, no intermediary, no fiat price feed. Just Bitcoin. A true free market. The fungibles haven’t found a durable use case yet beyond speculation; but I’d bet they will. Not memecoins.
