I think the Seahawks move Zabel to Center and I wouldn’t be surprised to see some 6 OL packages with Sundell and even seeing Sundell at FB.

Reports are coming in that many teams were interested, including Washington who put forward a better deal. Colts respected Nelson's wish to go where he wanted and to a contender and he wanted Seattle. Colts took less to make the trade happen.
Sorry 49ers but Quinton Nelson move> DeForest Buckner
Trade: Colts are sending three-time Pro-Bowl DT DeForest Buckner back to the 49ers, the team that made him a 2016 first-round pick before dealing him to Indianapolis in 2020, per me and @rapsheet. Now Buckner returns to San Francisco, fortifying the 49ers defensive line.

After acquiring All-Pro guard Quenton Nelson, the Seahawks waived guard Christian Haynes to make room on their 53-man roster.

"That could flip the whole damn NFC on top of its head right now. So I expect John Lynch to continue to make calls. I need Buckner. I need Brian Thomas Jr. I need all hands on deck."

Quenton Nelson through Week 7 (ranks among guards with at least 100 pass block snaps):
3.0% pressure rate (9th)
0 sacks allowed (T-1st)
25 impact blocks (1st)
Seattle is getting one of the best interior linemen in the league.
Trade: Colts have agreed to send eight-time Pro-Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the Seattle Seahawks, per me and @rapsheet. Nelson is on an expiring contract and the Colts are opting to get back draft capital now before they could lose him in free agency.
But an all-time Colt now moves on to the Seahawks.

just need to watch a couple clips of Nelson blocking on outside zone to see why the Seahawks wanted him
only Chicago and Atlanta have run outside zone more this season

By acquiring left guard Quenton Nelson, the Seahawks now have the flexibility to move Gray Zabel to the right side of the offensive line, where he played in college.
