IT LIVES!!! A year ago we realized that we couldn't get the custom beams from our vendors we needed and so the search for a 40′ plasma table began. Six months ago I found one, months of putting together three semi loads of parts.
Our new 400-ton press arrived.
In the constant battle to eliminate bottlenecks, we needed a bigger press devoted to bending long sections of heavy steel. Our supplier of bent sections would sometimes be 5 weeks out.
This 56k lb. press barely fit through the door. ImPRESSive!
First ever cross-country remote loading of a sea shipping container went off without a hitch. And it won us "Best in Show".
When we signed up to present, we read "No video. No Power Points. No Exceptions. We want live demos," which makes sense for live broadcast.
This was the first time I had been to a FreightWaves Live Event. It was fantastic. @TimothyDooner and @VincentTheDude put out some energy that you really appreciate when you see them live. Great guys to hang out with, too.

People lined up in front of the @QuickLoadz Intermodal Robotics Booth at the 36th Annual National Logistics Forum. The US #military is one of the largest #logistics organizations in the world.
They need to move a lot of #shippingcontainers around often times under unfavorable circumstances. I spent last week at the 36th Annual National Logistics Forum which "brings together senior government and industry logistics policy officials…"
The 12-hour days were worth it, many officers and others in industry were excited to find an #automated way to move loaded sea shipping containers now exists. Government is a slow cycle, but you have to start the boulder rolling.
