First off, someone with first hand experience is considered a primary source, they should be cited. Secondly, is he saying that Jaylen Browns contributions to the team this season (28 7 5) didnt drive the teams success?? So without him they would have been better??
An anonymous NBA GM on the Jaylen Brown trade
“This is a classic case of the credit goes to the guy who scores but they're not driving team success. There's guys like this all over the league, the difference is he's not at $40M... he's at $60M. It's really hard to tie up that much money in your salary cap for one player unless they're truly generational, and he's not even close to that. Also, the league is getting smarter now. And here's the thing: the dumb teams are the cheap teams.”

The Jaylen Brown smear is insane. Derrick White couldn’t hit a shot all season. Tatum missed most of the year. Hauser was below average. Queta is fine. Garza? Scheierman? Walsh? Jaylen carried those guys to 56 wins and now he’s taking it on the chin for no reason
I truly could not be prouder of Jake. He has had to sacrifice so much to help this program grow. More so, he is a young man of the highest character and a truly special person !
Congratulations to Jake Freeman (@jakefreeman_11) on making all ISL first team. Jake has had a remarkable two seasons at Middlesex helping to create a culture of hard work, determination, and selflessness. Can’t wait to watch him continue his career at Rollins.
Some college coach & basketball program is going to get one of the most underrated players in New England. Gavin continues to get better every time he steps on the court. As importantly, Gavin’s character & work ethic are truly special 💯
Gavin is going to make some coach at the collegiate level extremely happy!!
