Still doesn't make any sense how I went from attending in 2022, rooming with @Generalkidd because of a mutual connection, to this massive moment.
First pic I got at WC 22 was of me with @LexWexy in this costume, and 3 years later it ends up on display in my Corner. Insane.

Honestly with how different some of these guys are, I have no idea what the connective tissue is that puts them all here
Absolutely insane that I've made it this far.
Thank you, everyone!

You don't need money to get actors for projects like this. Common concern, but not a real hurdle
JSM is happy to provide whatever voices you need for free
Real people to provide real performance and to give them more for their portfolios
I’m going to cover this once, because I’d rather spend my time building this thing than debating it.
Yes, there are AI voices in my project. They’re placeholders, and I’m not apologizing for them. Placeholder voices are used everywhere in game development. You just don’t know it, because you never hear them in the finished game.
I’m one person adding features Halo never had, like squad orders, ambushes where your marines wait for your shot, and calling in dropships. The original game has no lines for any of that. So I perform every line myself and convert it to a voice clone, and the marines sound like themselves in every new moment.
It’s the best way to hear what this would sound like if the original actors voiced it.
I also have a moonshot idea. With Asha Sharma running Xbox and Xbox Labs exploring new ideas, if this project does well enough, there’s no reason it couldn’t get real talent like Steve Downes (Master Chief), Jen Taylor (Cortana), David Scully (Sgt. Johnson) and Tawnya Pettiford-Wates (Foe Hammer). That’s what we like to call a pipe dream.
As for AI hesitancy: a lot of it is just gatekeeping. It shuts out people who were never going to hire anyone in the first place. Nobody is losing work here. I’m not a company cutting actors out of a budget. I’m a guy who loves Halo, building the game I dreamed about as a kid.
Giving some love to the 1922 original Nosferatu film.
No clue how something silent, requiring piano, with very little groundwork could be so disturbing and unsettling.
I really love the visuals and spectacle of Eggers Nosferatu, but this original is still my favorite of the 2.

One of my buddies rolled those boxes for 6 years trying to get the armor they want, got it just before Infinite dropped.
Infinite has a lot of pay walled items, but a little under half can be earned without buying anything. Both systems are unfriendly to the player, regardless

Just vote for me bro, don't complicate it
Last day to see if I'm making it into the top 10!
You've all humbled me. Thank you for allowing me to continue telling stories

Appreciating Hitchcock today.
Man set a standard for filmmaking and Psycho's double twist still floors me for its visionary execution all those years ago.
Man had presence, and I'm not just talking about the side profile
Another interview in the books! Big thanks to @timlebbon for talking with me, such a good conversation. If you Halo novel-lovers have been wanting a nice break from the fantastical and grand-scale, this horrific story is exactly what you need.

For the month of October, I wanted to give my mind a break from hyperfixation on large projects to do something fun.

I'm not dismissing anything, I'm confident that First Strike was going to be good. For reasons.
