You may have the weapons, but the people have the determination. No power is greater than the spirit of people standing for justice. FRN For better Congo 🇨🇩❤️
A true hero is truly recognized by the legacy he leaves behind, the people he inspires, and the generation he prepares to carry his vision forward. When a great leader dies, his mission does not die with him. Just as Moses left Joshua to continue the journey, and Elijah passed his mantle to Elisha, Lieutenant General Makanika may have left us, but he did not leave us alone. He left behind his younger brother, Brigadier General Sematama, whom he taught and prepared to carry forward his legacy. Today, General Sematama walks in his footsteps, guiding his people and representing a vision that goes beyond one man, one generation, or one moment in history. THE MAN MAY BE GONE, BUT HIS LEGACY LIVES ON! THE VOICE MAY BE SILENT, BUT THE MESSAGE STILL ECHOES! THE CHAPTER MAY HAVE ENDED, BUT THE STORY IS NOT OVER! What began in 2017 as a movement of self-defence has grown into a broader revolutionary vision among its supporters, driven by the desire for a Congo free from corruption, oppression, injustice, and division. The dream is for a nation where every Congolese can live in dignity, equality, peace, and freedom. A revolution is not merely about the name of a leader; it is about the vision, the determination, and the hope for change that survive beyond his lifetime. General Makanika may be gone, but the spirit he inspired continues to live in the hearts of those who remember his legacy. Today, the responsibility rests with a new generation to carry that vision forward through courage, unity, and determination. THE LEGACY LIVES! THE VISION ENDURES! THE SPIRIT OF CHANGE CANNOT BE BURIED! Congo’s future must be greater than its past, and the dream of a better nation must never die. 🇨🇩🔥

JOSEPH KABILA ON THE DRONE ATTACK IN GOMA, THE DOHA PROCESS AND THE NATIONAL DIALOGUE
1. On the drone attack in Goma
Kabila:
“It was during that particular ceasefire that I thought we were safe in this very town. Then the drone came, and the idea was to finish us off.”
Journalist: Are you saying that the drone attack that killed the humanitarian worker here in Goma was aimed at killing you?
Joseph Kabila:
“I’m pretty sure it was. I’m pretty sure it was because, according to the reports we received, after the attack, a number of houses in Kinshasa were popping champagne because, well, they had achieved their objectives.
“Why would you pop champagne in the middle of the night? In fact, it was at 3 a.m. What was the occasion?
“So we were definitely the target.
“Prior to that, those drones had killed people in Masisi. To this day, those drones are killing people in Minembwe, in South Kivu.”
2. On the Doha process
Kabila:
“As the FRN, we believe that the Doha process is one option among other options.”
3. On the proposed national dialogue
Journalist: What about the national dialogue?
Joseph Kabila:
“Well, is there going to be a national dialogue? It depends on what you call a national dialogue.
“Our understanding of a national dialogue is simple: it has to include all the stakeholders, or at least the major stakeholders. It has to be inclusive and independent, bringing together people with different views who can sit around the table, discuss the issues and hammer out solutions.
“You also need a body that will preside over that particular dialogue. You need guarantors people who will guarantee that, if such a dialogue takes place, its resolutions will be implemented.
“We believe that all those ingredients are not yet in place.
“What the president in Kinshasa has said is that the only dialogue that will take place is his own dialogue. And his dialogue is not a dialogue; it is a monologue. He wants to talk to himself, his people, his clan, and through that, change resolutions and impose them on others.
“That is not dialogue. They are not interested in dialogue. They are interested in hanging on to power, changing the Constitution, and doing every manner of chaos they can.”
