Inspired by Sebbie’s kindness, the teams spent September fundraising for his Kindness Village, with doggy mascots and walks in and outside work bringing everyone together. More steps, stronger connections and a boost of positivity, all while supporting Sebbie’s mission to help disabled young people live more independently.

What can £1 really do? More than you might think.
Sometimes the smallest gestures can have the biggest impact, whether that’s helping someone with the cost of their washing, starting a conversation, or simply reminding someone that people care. That’s exactly what Sebbie wanted to do here. Using some of his own pocket money, he left £1 coins in a laundrette to help towards other people’s washing. It’s a small amount, but that’s the whole point.
Sebbie’s mission is to show what can happen when lots of people each do something small. If 1 million people donated just £1, that would become £1 million to help change the lives of disabled young people. And on World Mental Health Day, that message feels even more important. Sebbie is wearing his Hoodies For Heroes sweater, created to spread hope, spark connection and encourage conversations through something as simple as what we wear.
