I found out I've earned $800 over two years of making music. While that doesn't break even with how much it costs to make, distribute, and create music videos it does still make me proud that people supported my music. As a tiny indie artist from NZ this is huge. π

My mum taught my nan how to use YouTube on her TV. She called to tell me she's been watching my streams.

Okay I'm having a quick nerdy hypnosis microphone rant moment as I have learned some knowledge that I think fellow creators might want to know. Now I have been a rode stan for years because of how their mics make my voice sound magical and are very high quality but today I learned if you plug any of their usb mics into your phone you can use the rode reporter app to record things on the go.
Now you might be wondering "Secret why do I need to record into my phone when I have a perfectly good PC right here" and sure. For me it's about background noise. There are only a certain level of noises you can get rid of using the noise reduction tool without making your voice sound terrible and while some white noise is fine, it can get really distracting. So this way you can record without your super loud pc. Send the audio to yourself to edit later which is a process I have been doing FOR YEARS with my portable recorder zoom f6.
Better yet, if you use one of their mics with a headphone jack you can still monitor your sound via the mic itself or use it for a variety of other things like discord etc. So really it's insanely versatile. Just wanted to share this learning, I've been using a rode usb + for my experiment and so far I think it's one of the best usb mics I have tried (as a usb mic hater).

One of these days I'm going to regret telling my friends that while some brains are complex puzzles mine is simple and easy like a matching shape game. That day is not today.
Look it might be my last few days I may have been feeling some type of way because I'm exhausted but I'm coming around to the idea that being a mindless housewife wouldn't be that bad. I already have the wife and with the right training I could enjoy cleaning... eventually. π
