While Trump and Melania play high-society peacemakers, lending their names and orchestrating backroom deals alongside Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev, putin gets exactly what he wants. They’ve rolled out a slick Kremlin-backed stage show in Oleshky, flying in Trump’s personal propaganda machine from Newsmax right alongside Russian officials to act as "neutral observers”. With zero independent monitors on the ground, no buses heading toward safety, and Russian state cameras rolling, this fake "ceasefire" is a transparent recycling of the blood-soaked Mariupol playbook. By stepping into these negotiations without an ounce of ironclad oversight, the architects of this stunt have handed Moscow the ultimate PR gift—forcing a staged narrative down the world's throat, disguising a brutal occupation as humanitarian aid, and leaving suffering Ukrainians to pay the ultimate price.
