This is totally absurd. Whats wrong with these people praising an actor for his acting? Why can’t you judge him on the basis of his food preferences?
The actor playing Prince Raama (Ranbir Kapoor) is some serious talent, moved to tears! An unforgettable experience. Full #Ramayana review on Friday.

Yaha pe logo ko heart attack ajayega ye jan ke ki In valmiki ramayan when Lakshman hears shri ram has been ordered to go on vanvas he says his father old king dashrath is out of his senses and says he will arrest and imprison his father for exiling his elder brother 🙂
Yess 😂😂😂
The entire first half of that Sarg in Ayodhya Kand is full of such threats by Lakshman, out of anger.
- Threatened to wipe out all humans from Ayodhya. (निर्मनुष्याम् इमाम् सर्वाम् आयोध्याम्)
- Threatened to wipe out those siding with Bharat. (भरतस्य अथ पक्ष्यो वा यो वा अस्य हितम् इच्चति, सर्वाम् एतान् वधिष्यामि मृदुर् हि परिभूयते।)
- Threatened to imprison King Dashrath, if he behaves like an "enemy", and if need be slain. (प्रोत्सहितोयं कैकेय्या स दुष्टो यदिः, अमित्रभूतो निस्सङ्गम् वध्यताम् बध्यतामपि।)
And in the later part of the Sarg, Bhagwan Ram pacifies Lakshman's anger and Mata Kaushalya's grief by reminding of other great people such as Rishi Kandu, Sons of King Sagar, Bhagwan Parshuram who followed their father's order, and he shall be no different.

One of the most fascinating part of Ramayan is that Ravan's eldest and most powerful son's name came to be indrajeet after he defeated Devraj indra. And Lakshman killed him in final battle with Indra's weapon aindrastra only by invoking name of Shri ram. Most fitting end.

You know, she could have run away, but she knew they would have had no money, so she chose this route instead. She could have found a job after his death, too. In India, husbands even pressure their wives to file rape complaints against their lovers after discovering adultery. Her husband should have understood that society can be remarkably sympathetic towards adulterous women.

Why didn't she simply leave him?

Only for this one reason I used to love working abroad. 5pm office would shut. If a person was seen in office after 5 on 3 occasions his workload would be discussed.

Or maybe women in love are happy and comfortable enough to reveal a softer, less guarded side of themselves.
People express different dimensions of themselves.
You’re all projecting such nonsensical assumptions on this woman/couple.

They saw Nice & Real food for the 1st time in their lives… in total contrast to 2-minute Maggie slop “COMFORT FOOD”, Sub-human grade buffet at their PGs, and same bland Daal-bhaat at home that they had been eating all their life everyday
And then all of a sudden a Colourful, Tasty plate - just couldn’t help but make a Cheap, daily spectacle out of it.
One of the many Cringes that made 🇮🇳 a topic of hate on the internet.

I have always supported the BJP, its leaders and several of its development initiatives. But the moment I raised an environmental concern about the Saidongar project, I was accused of pushing an agenda. It's disappointing how one difference of opinion can invite so much hate. But trolling is nothing new to me, and frankly, I couldn't give two hoots about it. I know what I support, what I stand for and why I speak up.
My stand on this is simple. I am not against development or the project itself. I understand its potential to support renewable energy, reduce dependence on coal and cut pollution. These are important positives that must be acknowledged.
BUT, the Sahyadris are Maharashtra's ecological lifeline, and protecting them is equally important. This isn't just about trees. It's about an entire ecosystem, its biodiversity, wildlife habitats, water sources and the delicate natural balance that sustains them all.
And this concern extends far beyond Maharashtra. Across India, with rising temperatures, unpredictable weather and increasing pressure on natural resources, preserving our forests and ecosystems has never been more urgent. Our need for electricity and development will only grow, but we cannot keep compromising the very natural systems that make life possible.
If trees are transplanted or replanted, who ensures their survival? Who takes responsibility for their long-term care? Too often, trees are planted and forgotten. And what about the wildlife? What measures will ensure their natural habitats are protected and the ecological balance isn't disturbed in the process? What nature has taken centuries to create cannot simply be replaced overnight.
Surely, development and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand.
Supporting a government doesn't mean agreeing with every decision. And raising a genuine concern doesn't make someone politically motivated.
Protecting the Sahyadris isn't about opposing progress. It's about ensuring that in building our future, we don't destroy what sustains it!

Horrific CCTV footage is circulating from Kolkata. The heartless and ruthless perpetrator reportedly is apparently some Prakash Bachawat and the victim is some Dipika Jain, or names to that effect. @KolkataPolice, please verify the footage, investigate this alleged criminal behaviour, and take strict action in accordance with the law. @SuvenduWB @BJP4Bengal @KPDetectiveDept
