Over 20,000 people have now signed @ChrisPalmerMD's petition to reinstate @ProfDeannaK's study of a ketogenic diet for serious mental illness. Including many powerful voices @janellison, @hubermanlab, @MikhailaFuller. The patient, psychiatry and research communities are united in asserting that we MUST have freedom to research new safe, ethical and scientifically grounded treatments for serious mental illness. Our families, patients and children are dying from ineffective treatment and lack of progress. In my own family I saw the devastation that suicide causes. The pain, aloneness and devastation is a wound that never heals in all who are affected. Who are the 20,000 signing this petition? I bet many are people with children who are suffering.
