Hello everyone.
We are looking for a 3/4 or double bed or just the mattress alone to help make 3 kids comfortable. Clothing for ages 2,3 and 6 girls would be an added advantage. Blankets and a curtain too. Anything to make them comfortable. Please share with your network.
From your mouth to God's ears. These are literally our two main wishes for some years. Thank you.
The past months have been a blessing. The kids had eggs, sugar beans, covo. Quite an exciting menu really. It's the end of the month, please help effect a balanced and palatable diet for the children. Requests: Water, firewood, rice, sugar, meat, flour and mealie meal
💛 How can you help Kuchengetana Trust today?
Have excess maize, groundnuts or other farm produce? Can you donate towards meals and school fees, spare a little time, or help with our daily running costs?
Every contribution counts. +263786701002

Our work cannot continue without people who believe in it. Kuchengetana means caring for one another.
If you would like to stand with us, you can support our kitchens, education programmes and community initiatives.
One meal matters. One child matters. Every contribution matters.
Happy Defence Forces Day!
A special shout-out to our Defence Forces today with a slightly more personal one from me because I was raised by one! 😂 My Mum who serves at the Chitungwiza kitchen is ex-military, meaning I have first hand experience of military discipline lol.
The kitchens have benefitted immensely from me being my mother's daughter. Growing up with a mother who served gave me a real appreciation for the discipline, sacrifice and commitment that comes with serving your country. We salute all those who have served and those who still do
Every meal we serve depends on the kindness of someone who chooses to care. We are a fully donor/sponsor run initiative, please help us keep hope alive for our children and projects.
A little throwback for the new followers and those that missed the interview. Get an insight of how the Trust came into existence. Celebrating where we have come from and our wins.

Let's continue to share till we find the right team to get this going.
We're planning our first fundraising event this December in support of Kuchengetana Trust. Looking to connect with people who have got experience with fundraisers, sponsorships, event planning. We'd really appreciate your insights as we bring this to life.
Please use our link (Samantha Murozoki) to get the ecocash super app. We get US$1/referral into our wallet. What a way to fundraise!! US$6 can now feed a child for a whole month. Please share and update.

Reflections on communities, dignity and impact
Edition No.1
We can agree that becoming a girl didn't come with an instruction manual. One day you're racing the boys at break time next someone is whispering words like pads, periods, and don't wear white
Over the years at the Trust, I've learned that menstrual poverty isn't just about lacking sanitary wear. It's about dignity, confidence, education and opportunity. Around 500 million women and girls worldwide experience period poverty or lack adequate access to menstrual products

Let's collectively raise funds to help, all help is of significant importance and is wholly appreciated by the kids and adults.
Looking for tomatoes, gravy powder and onions, cooking oil to make our food more palatable.
Our porridge session for the under 5's has run out of sugar and peanut butter
Our two points need water and firewood donations. Please share and donate.
