Today is World Food Day. Across Arizona, families are struggling to put food on the table. Food banks are overwhelmed. More than 400,000 Arizonans lost SNAP benefits this year, including thousands of kids. In the richest country in the world, no one should go hungry. Yet Republicans cut food assistance to pay for tax cuts for billionaires. I'm fighting to lower costs and support working families trying to put food on the table.

The American people deserve leaders who are working for them, not looking for ways to get even richer. Donald Trump bought $5 million in SpaceX bonds and two days later announced major space policy changes affecting SpaceX. How much more blatantly corrupt can he get?

Hispanic Heritage Month gives us a special opportunity to recognize and celebrate the contributions, stories, and hard work of Latinos in Arizona. Their impact is not defined by a single month. Hispanic history, culture, and achievements are woven into the fabric of Arizona. Though today marks the end of Hispanic Heritage Month, we should recognize Hispanic heritage every day.
