I am repulsed and saddened by the violent events that took place at the State House last night. For the second campaign in a row @JenRourke29 has been subject to abuse - this time physical. Violence of any kind has no place in our democracy.
When we embarked on the current session in January, our shared goal was to take transformational action for the state of Rhode Island and tonight, we approved a budget that invests in our future … and gives immediate relief to the people of our state.

Surprise! My wife Deirdre and I were flocked by the 5th graders at Hoxsie Elementary School. Flocking is part of a fundraising effort to raise money for end of the year FUN! My wife and I are proud to support our hard working students, they are our future!
