6. He called for the Central Park 5 to be executed. They were found to be innocent.
7. He called the white supremacists in Charlottesville good people.
8. He criticized black NFL players for protesting racial injustice by kneeling.
9. He referred to African nations & Haiti in vulgar & derogatory terms.
10. He pardoned Joe Arpaio who was convicted of racial profiling.
11. trump proposed a Muslim ban.
12. He attacked a federal judge in the case against trump university because of the judge’s Mexican heritage.

Midterms are in a week, there are a few things that can happen:
1) We all show up and vote, we win overwhelmingly, take back some control from the shit show by winning the House and Senate. And maybe we change the direction of what is happening. Put a cog in that destructive wheel.
2) We all show up and vote, we narrowly win, and they refuse to let it flip, instead they litigate every state, dragging it out endlessly. We are left VERY disappointed realizing our government took our power away. America will not come back from this.
3) We don’t show up because, we think there’s a blue wave, and that our votes don’t matter. And we don’t win anything. We are left VERY disappointed realizing that most Americans don’t really care. America will not come back from this.
4) We all show up and vote, but trump / musk make “something happen”, where our votes don’t count and we are left VERY disappointed realizing our government is compromised. America will not come back from this.
I am obviously hoping for #1, but there is a very good chance we are going to be disappointed. If that happens this will be a turning point for me. I think I will have to stop posting on here and stay off the internet, for my sanity.
I know we won’t survive 2 more years of this administration, or at least the America we used to know will be completely unrecognizable by the end (it already is a very dark place). We will not be a free country anymore. This must be how people feel when a fascist government takes over.
