Students made Valentine's Day cards for seniors. They will earn community service hours for Distinguished Warrior. The cards are taken to state Sen. Craig Wilcox's office in Woodstock where they will be distributed. More than 100 students participated from both campuses.

Governor Pritzkerās statement on State Farm rates shows just how little he knows about insurance. Im glad the State of Florida is setting the record straight.
This is false. Perhaps the State of Illinois should first focus on the basic fact that State Farm Florida is its own company and no subsidization from the company in question is taking place.
We agree that Florida is a more desirable location to live in and many Illinoisans are relocating here, which has been further demonstrated through several carriers, including State Farm, filing rate reductions here in Florida.
Florida is happy to give Illinois some pointers on how to build an affordable and sustainable insurance market.

Today, Madigan was sentenced to 7 1/2 years in prison and a $2.5 million fine, but the real question is: Will this finally be a turning point for Illinois? Corruption has plagued our state for too long. Itās time for real ethics reformānot just more talk after another conviction.
