I am working over time on this, that I don't even have time to post here in X or do replies.
But I am working soo hard on this.
Expect lots of things
AI is becoming part of everyday life,
much like the Internet did.
But there is a difference between hearing that AI will transform everything and understanding how it actually works in the places where people live, work, and make decisions.
After my series on Finding Your Footing in the Age of AI, I want to go more practical.
As a product manager and AI product lead, I am stepping deeper into the Nigerian AI ecosystem.
I am launching AI in the Field
This is a series where I examine how AI is being deployed across Nigerian sectors, beginning with banks.
I will look beyond the hype to ask practical questions:
✓What problem is AI actually solving?
✓Who owns the outcome?
✓What happens when the system gets it wrong?
✓Which decisions should remain human?
✓How do customers, employees, regulators, and operators trust it?
What local constraints, trust, data, infrastructure, workflow, and incentives, will determine success?
I will start with banks, then expand into fintech, healthtech, agriculture, education, logistics, and public services.
Let’s build useful, responsible, and locally relevant AI in Nigeria.
First stop: Nigerian banks.

URGENT PUBLIC APPEAL
I never imagined having to make a post like this, but I desperately need your help.
On October 31, while covering a wedding at Oriental Hotel, Lagos, my bag was stolen from inside the bride's room.
The bag contained my MacBook Pro M1 and
FOUR external hard drives holding approximately FIVE weddings yet to be delivered to my clients.
These are not just files. They are people's once in a lifetime memories, months of hard work and my livelihood.
Thankfully, we have obtained CCTV footage showing the individual entering, taking my bag and leaving the hotel.
I'm offering a N500,000 REWARD for credible information leading to the identification of this individual and recovery of my belongings through the appropriate authorities.
Please you can send a message or call this number for any update 09033892670
Please guys help me repost abeg, this is very important please. 🙏🏾

I’m looking for someone who’s really good at building operational structures.
Someone with experience setting up internal processes, workflows, documentation, accountability systems and team operations.
I’d love to work with you for 3 months to help put the right structures in place at @cencori.
We’re bootstrapped, so this is an unpaid engagement. I want to be upfront about that.
If you’ve done this before, have some time to commit and would be interested in working with us, please DM me.
Tell me a little about what you’ve built or managed.
We need to stop treating employees like they should be grateful to have jobs.
Employment is an exchange of value. Employers need employees just as employees need employment.
Respect should go both ways.
Founders should stop building products around their own excitement.
Your excitement about an idea is not evidence of market demand.
Day 8 of sharing Product Management tips.
Here are 5 projects that show how you think as a PM.

Day 7 of helping product managers become world class.
Here are 8 things I'd never do again:
1. Build a feature simply because the CEO requested it.
I'd first understand the problem, the intended outcome and whether there's evidence that users actually need it.
Having an idea doesn't automatically make it a priority.
2. Start execution without understanding the problem.
I'd rather spend more time understanding what we're solving than rush into building something nobody needs.
A beautifully executed solution to the wrong problem is still a failure.
3. Promise delivery timelines without consulting the engineering team.
Product Managers should not make commitments on behalf of people they haven't consulted.
I'd rather communicate a realistic timeline than make an impressive promise the team cannot keep.
4. Treat every stakeholder request as an emergency.
Not everything is urgent. Not everything is important.
I'd establish priorities, understand trade-offs and communicate them clearly.
5. Confuse being busy with making progress.
More meetings, longer documents and endless Slack conversations don't automatically translate into better products.
I'd focus on outcomes, not activity.
6. Avoid difficult conversations.
Whether it's challenging an assumption, addressing delivery concerns or pushing back on an unrealistic expectation, I'd rather have an uncomfortable conversation early than deal with a bigger problem later.
7. Take responsibility for everything but have authority over nothing.
Product Management requires collaboration, but collaboration doesn't mean becoming the dumping ground for every unresolved responsibility in the company.
I'd establish expectations, clarify ownership and communicate boundaries.
8. Launch a product or feature and immediately move on.
Shipping isn't the finish line.
I'd monitor performance, gather feedback, evaluate outcomes and understand whether what we built actually solved the intended problem.
Because releasing something and creating value are two different things.

5 PROJECTS THAT CAN DEMONSTRATE YOUR PRODUCT MANAGEMENT SKILLS WITHOUT WORKING FOR A TECH COMPANY.🧵
One misconception I keep seeing among aspiring Product Managers is that you need to work in a tech company before you can gain practical Product Management experience.
You don't.
You need to learn how to identify problems, understand users, evaluate opportunities, make decisions and propose solutions.
And there are ways to demonstrate these skills even if you're currently working in a completely different industry.
Here are five projects I'd recommend:

A startup is not an excuse to exploit people.
Working in a startup might require flexibility. It shouldn’t mean employees surrender their boundaries, personal lives and dignity.

Nigerian founders want Silicon Valley results with informal village-business management structures.
They want speed, innovation, ownership, accountability and world-class execution.
But sometimes they don’t want to invest in the structures, compensation, people or processes required to achieve those things.
Being a founder doesn't automatically make you a good leader.
Starting something and knowing how to build an organisation are two very different competencies.

I don’t think we understand.
Being Nigerian means starting life several steps behind people who have access to better systems.
You can have the same intelligence, ambition, qualifications and work ethic as someone in Europe, but the circumstances surrounding your ability to execute are completely different.

As a man, if you have this ideology, please do me a favor, block me. Unfollow me. Don’t speak to me.
Thanks. God bless❤️
