MODEL and EFFICIENT Unilorites,
We write to inform students who recently applied for NELFUND and are expecting the funds to cover their school fees for the current academic session should take note of the following clarification.
The current NELFUND application cycle is not expected to cover school fees for this academic session. This has been communicated severally to students.
This also explains why undergraduate students were not refunded for the previous session, as many had expected.
Furthermore, the application portal remains open until December 2026. Until the application window closes, the processing of funds for this cycle cannot commence.
Students are advised not to rely on their recent NELFUND applications to meet their current session's school fee obligations. Please make the necessary arrangements to meet the University's payment requirements a late registration additional charges have started.
