If you sold your Semiconductor position (ETFs) because of some unqualified, parroting, random, fear spreading, foolish fintwit account...
ASML CEO: "...the secular growth drivers in the semiconductor end markets are still very much intact. AI, energy transition, electrification, among other applications, continue to provide a very strong and very positive perspective to our industry and ASML business"

Definitely want a market bottom by April.
Since 2011, if the market hasn't bottomed by April, S&P500 $SPX $SPY was negative on the year.
Last 2 occurrences, were in fact, Midterm-election years.
2008 and 2002 also did not bottom by April.

$SMH closed below Lower Bollinger Band and lowest RSI in a year.
More importantly is the fact that ZERO0⃣ stocks within Semis are trading above their 20-EMA.
This has marked pullback, correction, and bear mkt lows for $QQQ every time during bull mkt; within days.

K-shaped economy?
Real household income is broadly up since 2022 across all income terciles, but most so at the BOTTOM income tercile.
Mortgage forbearance ending will plunge economy
Commercial Real Estate crisis will plunge economy
Private Equity ".... plunge economy"
Wonder why the economy rarely plunges? Most narratives are just narratives and not fact-based.

SERIOUSLY??
🔸Unsustainable? Both lines go in 1 direction over the 35-yr chart period, completely SUSTAINED
🔹Real retail spending by lower income decile is actually higher than any other decile, when you strip out autos, which basically informs that all of the high income contribution to expenditures/retail is due to big ticket purchases, not daily consumption.
🔸Top 10% of US households total real retail spending by income is *lower* than pre-pandemic years and falling, not rising.
While PETER's assertions are evidenced falsehoods, 10K people adopted them (via ♥️) instead of believing their own eyes, that immediately invalidate his comments within the chart itself. That's social media or an indictment of our education system in the U.S. Whichever one it is, neither nets-out well.

Strong EPS/GDP growth = worst phase for $SPX
Our above-consensus GDP forecast and our above-consensus earnings forecast (+14%) are more consistent with middling equity returns, supportive of our 7100, that is lower than most. SPX is top-heavy in AI, not GDP-sensitive stocks. Economic boom could lift cyclicals, but they’re smaller part of SPX.

From a follower turned Finom Group Premium member:
"Hey Seth,
What you were touching on this morning, I have a confession that I wanted to share with you and the reason why I finally decided to become a member in November.
Last March after “liberation/obliteration day”, like most, I was stressing over losses. On the flip side, after the market was down over 20% I was STRESSING hard over when to buy and over if I was missing out of the opportunity to buy. My stress was so bad that I couldn’t sleep - it was something I was constantly thinking about. I happened to come across your twitter feed and started following you. While EVERYONE was negative and predicting a W shaped recovery (some saying a bigger correction from there), most recommending waiting to buy, your mind frame seemed completely different and contrary. You were positive on buying opportunities and had essentially said the bottom was in (I think I even remember you posted about a Zweig Breath Thrust initiating). I could not comprehend nor accept this as I was encapsulated with fear of more loss and noise from “experts”. My emotions and my default bias was negative. It started looking like you were correct and I could not reconcile nor concede that. I was hoping everyday you were wrong. Because I didn’t want to face the fact you were correct, I had to unfollow you.
Eventually I “put on my big boy pants” and started buying in mid April. I was fortunate that I still managed a good year, though only after I kicked the fear. But from that I learned something and I acknowledged some things about my self-investing journey - I don’t want to STRESS like that ever again; I have to develop the ability to control my emotions and psychology if I want to be successful; stop listening to noise; I need guidance and can’t do this on my own. After the dust had settled, I started following you on twitter again in October.
So this is why I’m here - I acknowledged that you were correct while others weren’t and you were someone I wanted to learn from so I can invest rationally and successfully.
As you saw in my last message to you, so far the process is sinking in and its changing my mentality."
Big picture takeaway, lot of folks try to go-it-alone and fail to benefit from a learned investing process that has been time-tested and takes advantage of time itself. You can do this, but don't do it alone; mistakes are costly and I've made them for you over my 26 years of investing experience.
