BREAKING You can NOW ADD MULTIPLE accounts within a connector on Claude. This means: -> Multiple Gmail accounts -> Multiple Calendars Honestly, the most requested piece of feedback over the past 6 months. I'm so happy.
Just filmed a @claudeai Duet: Zero to Hero tutorial! Coming this week. Until then, my thoughts 💭 - Duet is very proactive. It does a great job finding helpful tasks for you to work on. - You can feel opus 5.5 at every step (a huge win) - Voice mode on app is good, except lol... it doesn't remember conversations you've had with it previously. - Channels concept is cool, but also a bit confusing. You can create a channel or group - when do you do each? I still don't know - I love the #everything chat. It's pretty much claude projects with intelligent routing, which is GOATED with 5.5 - I love that you're able to build artifacts in app. I still think that all platforms are missing out out on a huge opportunity here though. There should be 10x more functionality with artifacts for each personal agent platform, Duet included. - Some important functionality like connector tool permissions can only be found in the Claude app, not Duet. - It's very early. Still only available on mobile, and web. Its missing tons of features that most of the others offer, but still capable enough to have it's magical moments. - You can NOW add MULTIPLE accounts (multiple gmail accounts) I'm personally transitioning Duet to be my always on proactive helper for work - helping me the best employee i can be. And this is what I filmed the tutorial on. #Meetings - Manage and keep my to-do list - Help me prep meetings, create to-dos from meetings - Analyze sentiment + coach me week end for all meetings #goals - Help me stay on top of my OKRs - Ensure they're factored into my weekly plan - Help me track my OKRs throughout the Q. #coaching - review my emails / slack / meeting notes - Help me find ways to improve - Help me learn new things when it finds gaps And more! For tutorial coming later this week. Sub to our youtube channel /tenex-media for the full video!

a user (u/Crunchy-Nut1) on our r/claudecode subreddit community connected claude code to his honda civic's chinese head unit. he found that: - a voice assistant was always listening for its wake word and running a hidden webview that consumed ~30% cpu even when nobody was talking - a call recorder was preinstalled on the device handling his bluetooth calls - the firmware had a root backdoor left by the vendor. - a startup script silently installed any apk placed in a hidden folder, then deleted the file. - the vendor's update app could push new firmware remotely. - baidu location services and a vendor log collector were running in the background. - the listing claimed device had 8 cores and android 15. the actual hardware had 4 cores and android 9, with a security patch from october 2021. he then used claude code to: - disable the always-listening assistant and other unwanted apps, then remove 18 packages after backing them up. - shut down the root backdoor and hidden apk installation mechanism. - disable the vendor's cloud updater. - configure adguard private dns to block ads and trackers. - upgrade android webview from version 66 to 138. - build a custom civic launcher, generate its icons, and recalibrate the backup camera guidelines - install open-source apps with sha-256 verification and lock down network access debloating your cheap hardware is a pretty sick usecase of claude code

I think the fact that Marissa Mayer would voluntarily disclose this to a reporter is a pretty good demonstration of how deeply the culture of Silicon Valley has diverged from the rest of humanity

Thank god we can find and intercept lost hikers as they mistakenly run away from rescue in dense forest!
Purdue University's IDEAS Lab built an autonomous drone that tracks runners through dense forests completely without GPS or cloud networks. By running 3D LiDAR mapping and obstacle-avoidance AI entirely on-chip, it can weave under tree canopies and predict target movement through blind spots in real time. Massive implications for next-gen search & rescue and edge AI.

We can't brute force compute all possible moves in Go, a static game with a simple 19 x 19 grid, yet somehow people think we're going to simulate a dynamic system of trillions of cells each containing trillions of molecules.
If you had an exponential amount of compute you could solve simulate biology exactly and wouldn't need to run any experiments. Some of you will think "of course, but that's an unrealistic assumption" and others will think "no, you need experiments even with that much compute. That's just How It's Done". You would of course need evaluations once you have a solution, but you don't in principle need experiments to find it: Experiments are a way to save compute, dating from a time when it was much more expensive. And I think the presentation is exponential but real systems aren't irreducibly exponential. AlphaFold worked, after all.

What in the black mirror has Jack Dorsey done?
We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence. block.xyz/dessa
