Individuals named as Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-appointed Booth Level Agents (BLAs), and listed as ‘objectors’ in at least 77% of the total 1,021 deletion applications filed so far in Delhi’s Mustafabad constituency, have largely denied any association with filing Form 7s as part of the continuing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in the city.
The Hindu contacted all 20 BLAs registered with the BJP, according to the Election Commission of India’s (ECI) records, who are named as filing the 787 Form 7s, which cite reasons such as “absent/permanently shifted”, “already enrolled” and “death” to seek the deletion of electors’ names.

People whose names appear in official Election Commission records as having filed objections seeking the deletion of voters are now denying having filed them.
Aap chronology samajhiye:
1️⃣ In Delhi’s Mustafabad constituency, 1,021 applications have been filed seeking the deletion of voters’ names under the ongoing SIR.
2️⃣ Of these, 787 applications (77%) name BJP-appointed Booth Level Agents (BLAs) as the objectors.
3️⃣ However, when The Hindu contacted all 20 BJP-registered BLAs named in these applications, most denied having any association with filing these Form 7 applications.
These applications seek to delete voters on grounds such as permanent relocation, duplicate enrolment or death.
❓Now, if the very people named in the ECI's records are denying responsibility, who actually filed these applications?
❓Are the ECI's records fabricated?
❓Were the BLAs' identities misused? Is there forgery or impersonation involved?
❓And most importantly, how many genuine voters stand to lose their right to vote on the basis of objections of purported mysterious objectors?

ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತಗಳು ಬೇರೆಬೇರೆಯಾಗಿರಬಹುದು. ರಾಜಕೀಯ ನಿಲುವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಿನ್ನಾಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಗಳಿರಬಹುದು. ಆದರೆ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವದ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಂದೇ ಎಂಬ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಈ ಹೋರಾಟ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾರಿದೆ.
ಈ ಹೋರಾಟದ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಶ್ರಮಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಸಂಘಟಕರಿಗೂ, ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರಿಗೂ, ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಮಿತ್ರರಿಗೂ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಪೂರ್ವಕ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಗಳು.
