Some video games have occasionally had interconnectivity with other games for neat unlockable bonuses or extra content
Here's a deep dive video examining both well known and mega obscure instances of fighting games rewarding you for... well, playing other video games. Tap in.
reading these absolutely insane tweets on the Japan piracy discourse to take my mind off of the fact that I've been in the ICU waiting room for two hours waiting on news about my mom
this industry is so fucked man
BREAKING: Electronic Arts is cutting 400 jobs and shutting down BioWare, the legendary development studio behind Dragon Age and Mass Effect. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
27 years ago, 9 year old me dreamed of making my own homemade Pokedex for Pokemon Yellow... but didn't own a Game Boy Printer.
Tonight, after approximately 39 days... it's done. A physically handmade and printed Pokedex with all 151 Gen 1 Pokemon. Kid me would be over the moon.
this will forever be the funniest fake kingdom hearts leak of all time
I don't know anything about high school musical but laughed so hard I nearly choked the first time I saw this
KH DDD was weirdly the most open I can recall Nomura and the development team being about scrapped/planned Disney content that didn't make the cut
IIRC, Symphony of Sorcery was supposed to include both the original Fantasia *and* Fantasia 2000. Firebird Suite would've gone hard.
Oh hell yeah, this game got the juice
There's a secret you can get right off the bat that really made me smile
Fun Fact: All of Hawkeye's arrow related special moves in the Marvel Vs. Capcom games are named after alcoholic cocktails (Jack Rose, Violet Fizz, etc.)
Hawkeye isn't an alcoholic in the comics, but another notable fictional TV/movie character is: Hawkeye from M*A*S*H*
Been taking my modded GBAs with me to work or on general errands, and I honestly forgot how nice it is to have portables that actually fit in your pocket with no fuss
Helps curb the doom scrolling habits, too. I miss this
this entire kh1 discourse is the entire reason why kh2 guts any semblance of level design and settles on flat, linear, boring rooms with zero complexity btw
The first handful of episodes of season 1 are mostly unremarkable but decent, if a little shaky here and there
Then they drop this bomb for the Christmas episode and it's ALL GAS NO FUCKING BRAKES for the entire rest of the season. Absolutely insane stretch of superhero TV
The reveal that Harrison Wells was actually the Reverse-Flash was genuinely insane.
you spend the entire season watching this man guide Barry, train him, and help him become the Flash
then you slowly realize that the person helping Barry become a hero is also the person responsible for destroying his life
Season 1 of The Flash really had something special.
Jane Foster Thor is an inspired pick, and it's nice to see Jubilee finally get in a fighting game after the MvC1 situation.
Venom seems kinda boring next to the other wild swings in the pass (especially since Carnage is already here), but he's an understandably safe bet.
just straight up the funniest spongebob moment of all time
every time I think I can watch this gag with a straight face I get to the bit where homie on the trumpet starts playing taps and I absolutely lose my shit
Silver Samurai is pretty much almost always exclusively associated with mutant stuff, but it's easy to forget that he started as a Daredevil villain
Chris Claremont used him in Marvel Team Up & Spider-Woman books in the late 70s before permanently sending him over to X-books
I definitely don't have enough stuff to go band for band like people in the qrts are, but I like to think my Pokemon collection is a 'lil decent
