RIP 🪦 Kathleen Booth (just over 100 years old) — she made immeasurable contributions to computer science and invented assembly language.
Her last paper published at age 71 in 1993 was on the application of neural networks to identify marine animals.

Excited to share my first foray into music-making hardware! The Abacuysnth is designed to be easy and fun to play regardless of musical background -- it's a physical implementation of some ideas I've been experimenting with in software.

Just heard that @DougJones will be the sherpa for Biden's Supreme Court nominee. That person will be in good hands. Still amazed at the impression Jones made on so many senators from both parties in his brief time. Damn shame we were too stupid to keep him.

Do not let anyone get this twisted. #SB62 enforces the legal MINIMUM WAGE for garment workers. It is not an added cost of doing business, unless of course your business is using sweatshops and underpaying your factories. @GavinNewsom @CalChamber #GarmentWorkerProtectionAct
70 biz told the @CalChamber to remove #SB62 from its Job Killer list - “Garment makers in LA lost their lives during Covid-19 precisely because endemic wage theft robbed them of the savings and safety net necessary to stay home from work.” @GavinNewsom
