Trade: Colts have agreed to send eight-time Pro-Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the Seattle Seahawks, per me and @rapsheet. Nelson is on an expiring contract and the Colts are opting to get back draft capital now before they could lose him in free agency.
But an all-time Colt now moves on to the Seahawks.
He isn't wrong. Significant jump over most QB3/PS contracts in the NFL.
At that point players will begin to see the value of taking a long term career in the CFL vs lower end NFL spots with little to no guarantee.
This will also mean the CFL will get the cream of the crop outside the NFL, a max pay of $1,000,000 vs ~$65,000 in the UFL is a large gap.
.@TSNDaveNaylor believes the @CFL is going to need a number of new starting QB's soon, and the million dollar figure will be a great marketing & recruiting tool, and an attractant for future QB's.

Five years?
It’s a five-year deal for @TorontoArgos QB Chad Kelly. If he plays it out, would expect he will own virtually every all-time Argo passing/QB mark. #CFL #Argos
