On 23/10/2026, a joint operation by Manipur Police, QAT CRPF and CoBRA was conducted at Sinai Camp, a designated SoO camp of KNO/KNA and KNO/KLA.
During verification, 17 individuals were found impersonating registered SoO cadres (8 KNA and 9 KLA) using false identities. All 17 were arrested.
Seizures: 24 firearms, 38 magazines, a large quantity of ammunition, explosives, wireless communication equipment and other combat gear.
Accordingly, FIR No. 20(10)2026 YPI-PS was registered under relevant provisions of the BNS, Arms Act, Indian Wireless Telegraphy Act and Explosive Substances Act.
All 17 accused have been remanded to 08 days' police custody till 31/10/2026. Their medical examinations have been completed.
Further investigation is underway regarding the involvement of camp functionaries, impersonation, unauthorised possession of arms and violations of SoO ground rules.

Lots of traffickers in China kidnap Chinese women and sell them as brides.
Traffickers will buy or steal any woman to anyone who will pay for them, I don’t think the trafficker cares where they come from or what the buyer does with them. But poorer areas with less economic opportunity tend to lose a lot of women to richer regions or countries nearby.
Over half of women who flee North Korea through China end up being trafficked.
Also in China, fewer and fewer people (men or women) want to get married. Marriage rates seemingly collapse by double digits every single year. With that, comes the collapse in the number of babies. For China, that means the number of babies born in 2025 was less than half the number born in 2017 (7.92 million in 2025 vs. 17.23 million in 2017).

At least 2 Meiteis men, who went to collect firewood, killed by Kuki Militants today at Nongshum village, Imphal East. Few are injured.
UNLF(P) camp located in the area was relocated in June 2026, despite protest by villagers, who anticipated such attacks by the Kuki Militants.
Since the villagers had already flagged such attacks, our CM @YKhemchandSingh should answer why Security was provided. It is high time people in positions are made accountable.
Preaching peace at the cost of human lives is unacceptable, neither will it be politically tenable.
At least for your own political stake, please act! Hunt down the Kuki Militants and eliminate them.
A strong message will bring peace which you are pursuing. Else the 'Dont touch Kuki Militant's' strategy may cost you heavily politically.
