what's inside Lara's backpack?
#tombraider #laracroft
Should have just cremated him, would have been faster
This is why I follow you Synn because I've been annoyed about this ever since the CotTR book came out π‘ Hell, I even feel like the book got stitched together from chapters written by different teams. π§΅
...who seem to be truly passionate about them, when the tie-in materials are a mess (but pls still buy them the money would be nice).
How is nobody getting that a bunch of half baked products released to build hype for your game are effectively killing that hype?? π§΅

you guys know how when people download fan art and then post it on their own accounts even with credit to the og artist, the artist still doesnt like that? and everyone agrees with the artist because there's lack of consent? yeah, so why is that different for writers?

I believe they intended to replace the classic games with remakes of them starring Lara as how she is in shadow as opposed to how she is supposed to be. They realised they alienated a huge section of long time fans (if not all of them) and had to run around to fix their mistake
"he held the elixir to her lips", "he almost crumpled next to her", "he laid her to rest"
Dicky was 100% dragging her corpse around π But given that she died in the cold Himalayas there's a solid chance she would have been well preserved (don't Google that, trust me)

there is a lot that we'd have to assume is metaphor. but like...that body would be a rotted mess by the time he performs these rituals haha
My two cents is that the intro part of the book probably shows the "items" that might pop up again going forward. Like the Iris is at best a secondary mcguffin, idk know why else they would write 2 pages about it *at the start of the book*
i don't have enough classic expertise to catch all of the inconsistencies and errors that chris from raidercast did. enjoy.

TR2 lore already got expanded in Scared Artifacts, not surprised if AoD shows up again since it's the most detailed word building in the franchise, and the Survivor ones are either red herrings or will also appear in some form (maybe DLC or collab).
