CELEBRATING OUR CHAMPIONS🥇🇰🇪
The Rising Lionesses were today hosted to a special breakfast by the Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) Board, in collaboration with the National Olympic Committee of Kenya (NOCK), in celebration of their remarkable achievement at the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games.
Fresh from their Olympic triumph, the Rising Lionesses returned home as Gold Medal Champions, making the country proud with their outstanding performances, determination and fighting spirit on the international stage.
The breakfast provided an opportunity for the KRU Board and NOCK to celebrate the young champions, recognise their hard work and dedication, and appreciate the coaches, technical team and everyone who contributed to this historic achievement.
Their triumph is a testament to the strength of Kenya's rugby development pathway and the growing talent within women's rugby. These young athletes have not only brought home the gold but have also inspired the next generation of Kenyan rugby stars.
The future is bright, and the journey has only just begun.
Congratulations, Rising Lionesses! You have made Kenya proud! 🇰🇪
