I'm usually comparing dogs and cats by how they greet you when you come home.
Dogs = wild dancing!
Cats = stalk sulkily toward their empty food bowl

Seen a few YT analyses of the TV show - good gaww, it's a whole subculture - and it seems interesting.
Do you rate it? I can get the DVD online for series/season 1 only, and it's apparently up to Season 3 now.

Started my 5-season DVD box set of The Twilight Zone (1959-64).

Everyone who's done sci-fi or "there's a twist" films/anthology TV shows (looking at you, Shearsmith & Pemberton 'Inside No.9') owes everything to Rod Serling's genius.
This is a lovely elegy for the lost art of really bad photos which everyone subjected their relatives/friends to, on a carousel of slides.
Which are more "real" than anything nowadays.

Friends, I could really use some help.
A large group of Amish builders from Ohio are spending the next FIVE MONTHS fixing homes damaged by Hurricane Helene for FREE in Western North Carolina and South Carolina.
There's just one problem... the Amish don't drive, so they need drivers to take them back and forth to job sites and drop off trailers (if you have a truck).
I have already volunteered to help, but we need more volunteers.
If you feel led and are in the area, there's a sign up sheet in the comments.
You'll get free breakfast and free dinner too + you'll get to meet some of the heroes who have been working here to rebuild.

Our local Co-op is a 5-7min walk each way.
I got our dogwalker last Jan when it took 25min's each way. At my worst, it took 50min's there, & I needed a cab home.
Today, me and M&Z got there in 17min's - and 15min's home.
