After forty years in front of the camera, I’ll be directing my first feature film, SO HELP ME GOD: a Civil War epic about a Union soldier named Albert Townsend, who should have received the Medal of Honor but didn’t.
Clerical error.
I learned of Albert through his descendants’ archival research. What I found was more than an injustice waiting to be corrected. It was a story of friendship and extraordinary courage: an unassuming young man becoming a soldier who held his ground, and his principles, under fire.
That’s a story worth telling on the largest possible scale. And we’re inviting the people who want to see it told to help bring it to the screen, as investors in the film through Republic.
We intend to do it justice: real cannons, one hundred horses, and the cast in period-accurate uniforms. We’ve brought on Mark Huffam, whose work includes Saving Private Ryan, Game of Thrones, and The Martian, to produce it. He knows what it takes to make an epic, and how much depends on the human story at its heart.
At the Medal of Honor Heritage Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee, I introduced the project alongside Civil War historian Brad Quinlin, members of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, and representatives of Civil War Roundtables. We’re also supporting the campaign for Albert’s posthumous Medal of Honor. His descendants are still fighting to see his courage properly recognized.
This picture is about friendship, love, and honor — and common people rising to accomplish extraordinary things. I want to give that story everything it deserves.
I hope you will lift the banner with us.

UI and One Punch alone.
I would steal off on anyone who writes my name in the Death Note, then I'll steal off on Death too.
Here we go with this shit again.
Even Saitama, a satirical character, worked hard to get where he is.
Hard work is always there. Unless you're Kirito.
Yamamoto: "WHERE'S UKITAKE?"
Kyoraku: "You didn’t see him on your way back?"
Yamamoto: "WHAT??"
Kyoraku: "This is our remaining firepower, old man. Unless you wanna free Aizen."
Yamamoto: *looks at Captain Rukia Kuchiki*
Captain Rukia: *Spongebob dance*
Yamamoto: "...Fuck."
Considering Tōsen is blind, Shinji could fuck with his sense of orientation (basically if he’s upside-down or not), but it wouldn't work for too long. If he uses Resurrección, he's cooked beyond well done and it'll be no one else's fault but his own.

Over the weekend, I met and had dinner with Rakim, Nas, The D.O.C., Kool G Rap, Fab 5 Freddy, Roxanne Shante, Kurtis Blow, and Jay Pharaoh all because I react to music on camera.
Shoutout to the Paid In Full Foundation for having me be a part of the Hip Hop Grandmaster Awards.
Pretty sure Chad is just trying to not kill him.
Nah actually we need to talk about Konstantyn and Chad’s trainer from the #BLEACH finale
Because not only does his design scream non-Yhwach affiliated Quincy like Sullivan Squire of the Soul Society West Branch, but something’s not adding up.
We’re shown Chad straight ICING dudes on his path to the title, as you’d expect from a superhuman fighting human martial artists.
But bear in mind Konstantyn is the world champion and Chad is the challenger, and we’re specifically shown the boxing match is nearly halfway through round 2.
This guy has been straight up boxing with potentially the physically strongest human on earth for 4 minutes and looks completely unfazed.
I’d bet my left nut this dude is definitely a NOT an ordinary human and is genuinely a physical superhuman
