The mental space, the spirit space is where we are in deficit. Time/Space/Mind/Soul. youtu.be/g-dvOnE-4a4?si=BsM2…
A song of longing, love, and the weight of everything that came before. We return to the present, where the past still pulls and the future presses back.
Every choice ripples in both directions. For the band, looking backward means confronting what was lost, what was taken, and what can never be undone.
Looking forward means asking whether any of it can still be changed.Sadina can bend time. She has done it before. Once the empress of a vast galactic empire, she now lives with the consequences of that power — the fractures she created, the people she left behind, and the question that follows her through every timeline: can she be forgiven?
Through it all runs her eternal love for Jack. Some things refuse to stay buried, no matter how far the timeline shifts. Ouroboros.

Palmer Luckey warns Europe will have a much tougher time adapting to the AI and automation revolution: “I think the European Union is going to have a really tough time.” 🇺🇸🇪🇺
“I think the European Union is going to have a really tough time. It’s hard to imagine an economy so dominated by international politics and labor politics allowing automation to transform its manufacturing economy.
The United States is one of the few countries with the talent, the people, the political will, and the acceptance at a societal level that something like this is good.
There are a lot of people in America who like Star Trek. A lot of people buy into the idea of technology and abundance.
The same cannot be said of any European nation.”
On the current trajectory, the European Union is in for an abrupt awakening. The recent pivot to increasing labor participation via immigration, instead of deregulation and technological innovation in order to push output and productivity higher is directly against something like automation. It’s this false prophecy of economic growth, that importing masses to participate in a slowing economy does not equate to producing meaningful output. They’re in desperate need of a directional pivot towards productivity and technological gains.

Between 1839 and 1849 two low ranked samurai, a father and son, kept in touch by exchanging meticulous diaries. The two diaries, today known as Kuwano Nikki and Kashiwazaki Nikki total over 5,300 pages of text and records astronomical events, politics, the price of goods and official business, but above all they go into the minute details of child rearing, the joys and hardships and education of the grandson left behind by the young samurai (he was suddenly posted to a faraway feudal domain as a tax administrator) and his four other children, born and raised without the help of grandparents or relatives.
Through these two loving fathers we get a long term picture of children and family life in feudal Japan. Notably, the parents spend a lot of time with their children and grandchildren. Playtime, games, excursions, picnics, festivals, every opportunity to allow their children to have fun is taken.
The children never leave their sides. They are raised with more freedom than modern children, and gently steered toward appropriate education and subjects that fit their individual tempers and abilities when they are ready for it.
The samurai men also put great importance on the health and wellbeing of their pregnant wife and daughter in law. When the young wife is exhausted by childbirth and breastfeeding the young samurai takes on cooking and cleaning and all other household duties by himself. The wife's only task is to nurture their newborn and to rest. And he does this while also going to his work in the feudal office as usual.
The grandfather's diary ends three days before his death in 1849, and the son's ends sixteen days later, when the news finally reach him.
If we want our our country to have more children, we should learn to be more like samurai parents, and we should put more emphasis on duty, care, and respect.
Testing whether audio from Operation Data Blast is still live on-chain, and it is. 🎶
"Lady of the Moon" was uploaded to BSV in July 2019 as a Bcat file in 119 transactions. I just rebuilt it byte for byte from the chain: 11.2 MB, 4:40, 320kbps.
The viewers and hosts have come and gone, but the data is still there.

Because I didn't fork anything.
BTC changed the protocol. BSV restored and preserved the original rules.
Starting a new chain with a new genesis block would have created a different system, not Bitcoin.
The entire point was continuity of the existing ledger, existing transactions, existing ownership records, and the protocol as originally designed.
If you create a new genesis block, you are creating a new asset.
Bitcoin was already running. The objective was not to invent a replacement. It was to keep the original system operating under the original rules.
The real fork occurred when others changed the protocol. Preserving the protocol is not a fork. Changing it is.

Seeing the riots in France and the terrible state of the French economy made me think of this 🔥 speech by Lee Kuan Yew.
"Look at the buildings around you. Look at the stock market bouncing up.
Let me tell you how to bring it down. Have a couple of really good riots, shake political confidence."
On top of that, the French economy is collapsing. Only one in three French people works in the real economy. Two-thirds live off other people’s taxes. The entire system is completely unsustainable due to absurd pensions and runaway state spending.
At the end of the clip, Lee says:
"My political opponent says that we are 'obsessed with profits'
I say 'YES! That’s how Singapore survives.'
If you have no profit, who pays for all of this?
If you make profit into a dirty word.. Singapore dies!”
Beyond mass migration, this is how Western Europe is dying btw.
Grimes frames the coming population drop as luck. As if fewer people is the elegant solution to machines taking work. That is the anti-human turn in one sentence, and it has become all to normal.
A society that treats its own children as a surplus to be managed has already forgotten what an economy is for. People are not a cost centre that AI finally lets us shrink. They are the point. Raising a family is not a lifestyle accessory and it is not a drag on the serious work of the future. It is one of the greatest gifts a person can give, to the child and back to the species.
Modern culture has spent decades talking about the family as a trap, a patriarchy, a carbon problem, an interruption to the self. Then it acts surprised when the birth rate collapses and calls the collapse convenient.
The order is not optional. A man and a woman are the basic unit. From that household comes the village, the town, the city, the nation. Aristotle saw it. So did every civilisation that lasted. You cannot skip the household and jump straight to a managed population of individuals plus machines. What you get is not freedom. You get loneliness with better tools.
On the jobs panic, the fear is aimed at the wrong object. A great many people do not like the work they are afraid of losing. They endure it. The threat of AI is real for tasks..., and pretending otherwise is foolish. But a task is not a vocation.
The question worth asking is the old one: are you doing what you were put on this earth to do?
In Japan that question has a name. Ikigai. Not a career quiz. A reason for being, the meaning of a life, and the small daily joy that makes a life worth continuing. The tragedy is not that a model might write a report or paint a picture. The tragedy is how many people reach middle age and still cannot say what they are for. They were never taught to look. They were taught to be employable.
That is the education worth funding. Not another round of training people to occupy a slot a machine will shortly occupy better. An education in self-knowledge. In love of one’s own life.
In the classical sense that a person has a nature, a work proper to them, and a duty to find it. Do that, and the arrival of capable machines is a liberation from drudgery, not a funeral. Skip it, and you get exactly the future in the clip: very good AI across every pillar of art, and no one left who needed to make any.
A population drop is not luck. It is a bill coming due for decades of treating family as the problem and the self as the project. The correction is not a policy tweak. It is remembering that civilisation is households, or it is nothing.
The most innovative music in 2026 is not a new instrument. It is the collapse of the genre contract.

🚨 JUST NOW: Elon Musk, shoulder to shoulder with President Trump, explains why AI is going to lift up ALL of humanity -- not force them into poverty
@elonmusk: "I think by FAR the most likely outcome is an AGE OF ABUNDANCE where we don't have just universal basic income, we have universal HIGH income. And people speak about medical benefits.
"Maybe it's worth talking a bit more about that. When you have robots and you have superintelligence, it means that EVERYONE in the world can have better medical care than anyone here, including ME. And wouldn't that be wonderful?!"
Jobs are going to change. Jobs have ALWAYS changed.
But being a computer used to be a job. There used to be buildings FULL of people doing calculations, but now digital computers to do those tasks. I don't think anyone is pining to go back and do calculations all day to do bank interest rates, which is what they used to do.
So I think we'll see an evolution of roles. And as the President has mentioned, it's not as though unemployment has increased. In fact, there's a TREMENDOUS demand for people.
So I think the most likely outcome--and it's probably worth looking at--the most likely outcome is one which is INCREDIBLY beneficial. And it's a future that you, if you could look into the future, it has a future you would WANT."
WELL SAID, Elon. No notes 👏
AI music tooling is not “AI versus humans.” It is the next tool in electronic music — the same job Delia Derbyshire was doing with tape, oscillators, and white noise: inventing sounds that did not exist yet.
Most Never Taste It — Namida Lumina
youtu.be/Fxp1IonNYPk?si=R9l1…
That was always the point of electronic music. Not to imitate the orchestra more cheaply. To walk into an undiscovered country of timbre and form.
Delia Derbyshire realised Ron Grainer’s Doctor Who theme before commercial synthesisers were even in the room. No band. No Moog. Quarter-inch mono tape, inch by inch. A plucked wire slowed for pitch. Test-tone oscillators pushed past their job of calibrating rooms. Filtered white noise cut into “clouds.” A wobbulator for the low throb. Three machines started at once because they didnt have a multitrack. Mathematics n music, Cambridge-trained, then a lampshade struck and analysed into partials, rebuilt on twelve oscillators. She went back to the harmonic series and came out with a sound nobody had heard.
People said it was not real music. It was more real than the objection. She was composing with the physics of the signal.
Everything after her is the same gesture with a new machine.
1960s–70s: Moog and Buchla turned sound into a voltage-controlled circuit. The composer became a patch designer.
1983: the Yamaha DX7 made frequency-modulation "pain in the ass to use too" synthesis a mass instrument. John Chownings operators and algorithms gave a decade its timbre from a new math of sidebands.
Late 70s–90s: sampling and the drum machine made recorded reality raw material. MIDI and the DAW made time nonlinear. Arrangement became an edit.
UK garage, 2-step, then future garage are what that timeline sounds like when it keeps the swing and drops the spectacle. Shuffled hats late on a 130–140 BPM grid or slowed down became a dif genre.... Filtered Reese and sub. Sparse piano. Pitched voice as weather. Burial already proved the computer could carry feeling if the microtiming stayed human.
Each tool was accused of being fake. Synths. Drum machines. Sampling. Auto-Tune. DAWs. History absorbs the instrument as genre kept moving.
Neural audio models are the next control surface. Not a replacement author. A new workshop.
What they actually do is a compression-and-prediction problem. Artist still needs to fashion n forge....
Audio at 44.1 kHz is tens of thousands of amplitude samples per second — too high-dimensional to model raw. So the systems encode first:
1- Autoregressive transformers treat music like language. Text, lyrics, prior tokens; then the next token, then the next. Harmony, swing, phrasing, and production grammar are long-range dependencies in that sequence.
2- Latent diffusion / spectrogram diffusion starts from Gaussian noise in a compressed space and iteratively removes noise, conditioned n text embeddings (T5, CLAP) and timing, until audio reconstructs.
Commercial systems combine token-level form with diffusion-level fidelity.
This is not a sample pack. Weights do not store clips. They store a high-dimensional manifold of musical regularities. You navigate it the way Derbyshire navigated tape: specification, listening, cutting, refusal.
A default generative pass wants even bars and a pretty cadence. Future garage wants late hats, empty space, sub you feel before you name. The model offers the porch first. The work is forcing the latent toward the live wire.
Iteration is the new splice. Fusing genres is not a trick. It is how you walk off the map.
A model cannot read a room at 1 a.m,Studio electronic, future garage, cinamatic work, virtual-band worldbuilding — those are workshop arts. That is where the new country is.
Authorship does not dissolve. It moves to the person who can hear.
Writing beautiful music is my prerogative. Inspiration. Fusing genres. Making sounds that move the soul — heal, love, unity. That is why I make music. Not for impressions. Not for the metric. Not to win an argument about tools.
Electronic music’s history is new mathematics becoming new feeling. Tape. Voltage. Operators. Samples. Swung grids. Now tokens and latents.
There is no war between AI music and human music.
There is a new undiscovered country, and a choice: stay on the porch, or go in and make something that can heal.
Listen. Then argue with the work.
