Said this before but the issue with the Sangh isn’t that they question the infallibility of the Pobitro Songbidhan; but the specific vision for the same.
"In the end, the Constitution is not some infallible document" Hmm as a liberal I am indeed not ready to have this conversation right now as public discourse (ok as academic discourse), but I can think of another group who are extremely willing to have this conversation.....

Very interesting to have the defence of Saudi Arabia = defence of “Israel” (& vice versa) made very clear. Fascinating too to see this pathological drive to proscribe everything, especially at a time when the perceived legitimacy of proscription is wobbly to say the least.
🎥 WATCH: LFI honorary parliamentary chair @MarkJSewards on the urgent need to proscribe the Houthis during today’s urgent question on RAF support to Saudi Arabia. "It would allow us to criminalise fundraising and support for the Houthis and disrupt any operations on UK soil as well as freeze their assets”

Oswald Mosley’s grandson talking about Jeremy Corbyn’s politically dubious brother 😭😭 This is just walking into it…
The letter wasn’t to silence you, @jeremycorbyn, but simply to point out where you are saying things that are not true. Perhaps I should have softened the phrase “I hope this alleviates any concerns you had”? My offer to meet stands btw. Might be a chance for you to catch up with @Piers_Corbyn too? He’ll be with us again this afternoon.

Name one other minority in history whose very existence was openly and ubiquitously discussed as an international “Problem” to be solved.

One of the reasons you know ‘economic prosperity’ won’t cure reactionary tendencies is the fact that Britain wants to destroy one of its major export sectors over xenophobia. (The ‘poor quality degrees’ actually subsidise the good departments in smaller unis btw)
🚨🇬🇧 NEW: The UK Government has announced plans to withdraw funding from “poor quality degrees” [@FT]
