The designs in code vein where the silhouette is very gothic/victorian but then the small details like rubber soles and plastic buckles subtly tells you this takes place in the same timeframe as the post-modern techwear in GE... I love it

smth they mentioned was that they intentionally made it so the revenants appear more abnormal and old-timey than the more realistic modern humans but it's interesting that the two revenants who were humans had more modern tells on them compared to pureborns like valentin
