People who say "Why can't I use blood magic in veilguard" don't understand or even tried to understand the lore of the game. One of the main antagonists is a god that literally invented blood magic and would be able to manipulate the rook with ease if he did use it.

This is top two worst power downgrades in comic cinema history, and it ain't number 2. In Marvel canon, Bobby Drake is an Omega-level god. He can halt molecular movement to hit absolute zero, become immortal by existing as sentient moisture vapor, freeze the liquid inside a person's bloodstream, and build an autonomous army of ice clones. He even froze literal hellfire. The fact that fox took a walking planetary extinction event and turned him into a kitchen appliance so Logan wouldn't have to drink warm soda is just sad
