My coverage of the Dallas Stars is going to look a bit different this year. I’ll be diving into emerging storylines all season rather than game-by-game analysis. Today’s topic: the unexpected combination emerging as one of Dallas’s top lines.

While I do find it hilariously little brother of them to just copy paste our colors, I must admit that the concept of these jerseys is sick.
Just further proof that things in Minnesota improve when you Dallas-ify them.
Hit the mark: Florida, Minnesota, Anaheim, Boston, Toronto
Scored the layup: Buffalo, Edmonton, San Jose
Weird but good: Chicago, Montreal, Pittsburgh
Respect for Trying: Colorado, Ottawa
Fine: Carolina, NYR, NYI, Washington
How did we get here?: Dallas, Detroit, LA
In case you’re more of a squinting person than a scrolling person…
We now have TWENTY of the upcoming Hometown Remix jerseys, nearly 2/3rds of the league. Who’s in the lead for your favorite?

SPOILER WARNING: A mock up of Dallas’s hometown remix jersey has leaked.
This is certainly a jersey. Feels like a missed opportunity, but maybe it’ll look better in real life.

⭐️ The Dallas Stars switched their NZ system from 1-1-2 to a 1-1-3.... What is it, and is it working?!

ps thanks to @DailyFaceoff for the jerseys!
I really liked the version of the Hometown Remix I had in my head that was a white version of the 99s. RIP the dream.

Canucks fans just chanted "HE'S NOT SIGNING" referencing Quinn Hughes who has yet to extend in MIN 😭
Pretty tight game tonight until the Stars exploded in the third period. Dallas’s win streak hits 5. They’re the hottest team in the league right now. Keep it rolling!

Yeah man, it’s over for every team in the league. Mehta and Tulsky are going to skate circles around every other GM in the league and it’s not going to be close.
In 20 years, we’ll look back on this and wonder how so many other teams shied away from analytics for so long.
My 2 questions for #NJDevils GM Sunny Mehta at his press conference today and his well thought out answers.
Called him out for bluffing. Got him talking about Bayesian hierarchical models. And allegedly stole @mikemorrealeNHL’s question 😂
