Every CV I get sent looks the same!
2 side projects
a portfolio site.
A Github
None of it tells me you can work alongside other people.
Side projects have no deadline. No client. Nobody waiting on you. You can rewrite the whole thing the second you get bored.
Go find company problems instead.
We're taking on 10 more people for our AI engineering bootcamp.
With a chance to get hired by our partners after completion.

The safest job in 2025? is gone by 2028. Nobody is talking about it.
AI is already replacing the colleague sat next to you, and they haven’t noticed yet.
every industry is shifting faster than your bosses are willing to admit.
And, the ones who come out of this fine won’t be holding the best degrees
they’ll be the ones who adapted early and built a core set of skills that make them unstoppable.
The goat of Dubai real estate has touched down on X
My mentee is about to close a $20k Saudi client selling AI.
Well, I say "mentee", hes a friend I mostly consulted on the technical bits.
The market is wide open, and most people are still waiting.
On average my mentees land their first paying client in 5 weeks.
So, please stop vibe-coding cute side projects and go find real business problems that are acutely painful.
Thats where the real $$ is earned.
This is 2021 thinking.
Post-AI, we've seen VC's struggle with this model because big cheque's inflate the founders ego and they do things like spend millions on a billboard in NYC in the name of "growth"
A startup isn't supposed to make money.
It's supposed to grow fast and maximize the odds of returning a multiple to its investors.
Once you take VC money, your job is to increase value, not generate profit. If a company in my portfolio is sitting on profits, I'm annoyed. That cash should be going back into growth.
If you own 100% of your company, do whatever you want with the profits. Pay yourself a dividend. Buy a boat. Your call.
With VC funding, it doesn't work that way. Dividends sometimes become acceptable after an IPO, long after anyone still calls the company a startup.
Profit isn't the goal, it's what's left when you've run out of better places to put the money.
