Jesse Legree, Oregon State’s freshman phenom makes headlines on and off the field. This past weekend one of the nation’s leading receivers announced he was “re-signing” with the Beavers for the 2027-28 season. Not only is it a huge win for Oregon State, it was a massive win for the newly signed @klutchsports client as he also was able to leverage the moment into a massive @battlesports brand activation. Every high school signing, like RushTok, will be turned into brand activations because dollars follow eyes, and look at the engagement rates on Jesse’s announcement posts. Not just on his accounts but all the aggregators as well. I just wanted to share a few thoughts on the signing and where we are in the snapshot of the NIL, RevShare, and looming Protect College Sports Act world.

Brands & Agencies of Record with seeding opportunities. I have an athlete (and likely multiple) that are ready, willing, and able to create compelling unboxing content and UGC pieces. This isn't the athlete's first time doing branded content. She's worked with CVS, PRIME, Unwell, and other brands. She's open to PR packages, but would prefer long term partnerships. Hit me up anytime if your brand is trying to get into the athlete creator space, and in front of those following athletes from a wide range of sports and interests.
