In the first three months of students having access to our new diverse books, these books have been checked out over 8000 times! That’s 14% of our total circulations, even though the books are only 6% of our collections. Kids are loving these books! #wehavediversebooks

Telling children who love graphic novels that "graphic novels do not help you grow as a reader," is not true and diminishes the children right along with the books. Reading doesn't belong to school. It belongs to readers. Value them!

#FMSLibrary checked out close to 50 books-not bad for the first week-this week and delivered either in person or by bus. So good to see the kids excitement at the library being open. #epslibraries
