The Podcast and Chill episode featuring North West businessman Benjy Maponya, which attracted more than 1.9 million views, was removed from MacG’s YouTube channel on Tuesday, 27 October 2026. The removal comes amid a legal dispute with mining businessman Solomon “MySol” Madibela, who obtained an urgent court interdict restricting the publication of the episode. MacG published the episode despite the court order prohibiting him from doing so. The dispute has since escalated into contempt of court proceedings, while Maponya is challenging a judgment finding him in contempt. Neither MacG nor the Podcast and Chill Network has publicly explained why the episode was taken down.
