Mirador just raised a pre-seed round led by @Lightshift_xyz
We are extremely excited to back @jespern (Founder of Bitbucket and Upvest, CTO at Arweave, and most recently Director of Engineering at Kraken) and @DanAtMirador (CTO at @skewdotcom – acquired by Coinbase – and later Staff Engineer at Coinbase) as top entrepreneurs to tackle some of the biggest pain points they noticed at Kraken and Coinbase.
Mirador gives teams a unified, real-time view of everything happening across their stack. It’s the observability and traceability layer for Web3.
From stablecoins and payments to DeFi, trading, wallets, and smart contracts, Mirador turns fragmented on-chain and off-chain data into actionable insights, in one single place almost as a “Datadog for blockchains.”
You can test its beta at mirador.org/ , follow @miradorlabs for more updates and reach out to the team directly to know more [email protected]

Today, I'm announcing Mirador: a platform that ingests diverse data sources in real-time and intelligently surfaces correlations across them, giving teams a unified view of what's happening across their entire stack.
Important data lives everywhere - in your application, across chains, protocols, APIs, financial systems. Making sense of it means correlating it in real time, not staring at six dashboards and connecting dots manually. Data shouldn't go to die in cold, stale data warehouses. Mirador turns it into signal.
Our first product applies this to blockchain activity, because it's where we have deep expertise and where the pain is acute. Modern onchain applications aren't simple anymore. A single user action can spawn transactions across multiple chains, hop through bridges, route through intent-based systems and solvers, touch DEX liquidity on three different networks, and settle somewhere else entirely.
At every hop, visibility degrades. By the time something goes wrong, the trail has disappeared into a fog of complexity. Mirador cuts through that fog by correlating onchain activity with data from your application, mempool data, and off-chain sources like FX feeds, giving teams end-to-end visibility across every system a transaction touches.
Our guiding principle for this first product is “follow the money”. Wherever value moves, you should be able to trace it - no matter how many systems or boundaries it crosses.
I've lived these problems firsthand, most recently leading Developer Experience and Growth Engineering at @krakenfx. My co-founder @DanAtMirador saw the same gaps as CTO at @skewdotcom (acquired by @coinbase), where he continued as a Staff Engineer.
If you're building in DeFi, payments, wallets, trading, or anything that spans multiple chains and systems, we'd love to talk.
Special thanks to David & @SimaoCCruz for their invaluable input, we’re grateful to have @Lightshift_xyz backing us.
Today we’re launching public beta, and we’d love it if you kicked the tires: mirador.org/
My team and I will be at @EthereumDenver all week as well, more than happy to meet up in person!
(Btw: Mirador is Spanish for ‘viewpoint’, reflecting our premise: from an elevated position, the full picture comes into focus.)

Premium domains are tradable as tokens soon 🔄
The first premium domain, software.ai, begins trading on December 1st at 00:00:01 PST.
This launch introduces the world’s first premium domains tradable as ERC-20 tokens.
Domains like software.ai, brag.com, and other premium domains are no longer illiquid assets held by a few.

A user finds your protocol. Yields look good. But their assets are on Arbitrum & you're on Base. They close the tab.
This kills conversion in DeFi. We've fixed this.
The Portals API is now cross-chain. One integration unlocks liquidity & users across 8+ EVM chains. 🧵 (1/7)

Union introduces a general solution for private transfers. Our protocol generalizes to bridge transfers and regular transfers, allowing users to stay private, even when transferring their assets across chains.

Meet Canton: the $6T/month institutional blockchain hiding in plain sight.
+$4 trillion in tokenized assets; +$6 trillion processed every month; +$400M raised.
Today we share our research on the network:
• Architecture and why the top 10 banks are choosing Canton (+$200B transacted a day vs. Ethereum’s ~$7B);
• Background on the company that started 11 years ago having raised more than $400M in funding from the likes of JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Citadel, Polychain, or YZi Labs (Binance);
• Tokenomics and the Canton Coin coming to market, already being a top 10 chain by fees burned;
• Ecosystem overview from defi native apps to the largest global institutions such as Goldman, HSBC, iCapital, Nasdaq, or the DTCC building on Canton.
(We’re actively backing founders building the future of finance. If that’s you, feel free to reach out.)

Daimler (Mercedes-Benz’s parent company) bought 9.1% of Tesla for $50 million in 2009.
They sold part to Aabar Investments (Abu Dhabi) and fully exited in 2014 for $780 million.
Today that same stake would be worth over $60 billion.

🚨 ETH exit queues are blowing out — and it shows exactly why we need institutional staking markets.
Kiln is exiting all of its Ethereum validators as a precautionary measure following the recent SwissBorg/Kiln incident. And because Ethereum throttles how many validators can enter/exit per epoch, queues have spiked dramatically.
For stakers who simply want to switch validators, the round-trip looks like this:
⏳~41 days in the exit queue (still earning rewards)
🛑~9 days in the withdrawal queue (no rewards)
🔁~13 days to re-enter the activation queue if restaking (no rewards)
👉 Nearly two months of capital stuck in limbo.
Importantly - these queues affect everyone staking ETH, no matter the provider. This is a market-wide problem.
Ethereum’s design — like most PoS blockchains — prioritizes security, not TradFi-style liquidity. It was never built for wrappers that must meet redemption obligations, or for large, idiosyncratic exits like this one.
That’s exactly why we need market infrastructure to exchange liquidity and staking-reward risk. With fixed-term, bearer instruments backed by staked ETH and a clear legal foundation:
✅ Liquidity-constrained holders could cash out early into liquid ETH, trading illiquidity for a discount.
✅ Long-term ETH holders could step in, earning the benchmark CESR + Spread for taking on the lock-up risk — effectively rewarding patient capital.
Wrappers with redemption obligations, like ETFs and ETPs, could meet them without relying on bilateral financing workarounds or excess buffers.
This isn’t about eliminating risk — it’s about pricing it, transferring it, and managing it. That’s exactly what institutional staking markets are built to solve
