The main issue is that people believe the story should be rushed and reveal everything because they have to wait a few years between each chapter Unfortunately for them, Deltarune seems to be the type of story to fire all its guns in the final arc, like Undertale

Every time I see this kickstarter appear in my TL, I'm reminded that people have no clue how stretch goals work The game is funded, people are just donating more. The whole point is that the game should already stand on its own and those goals will add more content

As for saying something about the franchise itself and not the fandom itself: I think MANT was fiiine, I've had less fun with Grand Live tbh (Though I did play Grand Live -and Uma in general- way less due to personal life stuff and working on other things)

thing with "all art is political" is that its deeply misunderstood. it means that all art has an intent and is influenced by real life political and sociocultural tendencies. you can study the artists' intent in every single piece of media ever, or at least what influenced it.

There's many things in life that we do or exists for a lot of underlying reasons that we never think about and never need to or feel the need to bring up until a specific context asks us for it. Why should art be any different? Especially in a comment section?

And I have yet to see "All art is political" be used in good faith anyway. It's always used as a way to bring politics where no one asked for them by people who can't live without bringing that up everywhere

Honoring the legacies of racehorses is an important part of Umamusume, but saying the gacha game is not a waifu collecting game is completely stupid. I'd argue catching your eye with an attractive/cute horse girl to then lead you to the story of the real horse is the intention

I might be insane but I'm certain Underlust had a canon version where the whole sex & lust subject was treated a bit more seriously (like Sans was actually depressed from the situation) but then it got bastardized to hell and back until Sans became the omnisexual people remembers

I have come to notice that almost every images on Twitter now appear in that slider aspect instead of the grid aspect EXCEPT the ones who do that one trend that takes advantage of the slider. They're all grids
