❌ 1:1 airdrop: 80% of supply to old holders vs a 10% pool. If just 25% of it gets sold, price drops ~89%. You'd get 96% of your tokens but almost none of their value. ❌ Future fee airdrops: would need ~2,500 ETH of volume to cover the losses.

A proposal to cover the $SIMD losses, I want everyone's opinion I can't refund everyone myself, so the new SIMD would do it step by step: → 30 min anti-sniper tax at launch, from 50% down to the normal tax → That tax + 10% of the supply go to a Compensation Vault 👇

→ After 30 min the vault buys back $SIMD and airdrops it all to the wallets that lost, split fairly by how much each lost 🔒 Everything is locked in the contract before launch: the 10%, the tax and the list of affected wallets. 👇

I'm not going anywhere. After everything that happened with $SIMD, I've spent these days learning to deploy contracts through the Identity.md swarm myself. We've already run tests. SIMD has to come back, and this time I want to prove I'm legit by doing it right. The plan: 🧵

→ 2% total tax. All of it goes to a SIMD Vault that splits it every week, automatically: • rewards for holders (weekly snapshot, can't be gamed) • paying Identity.md swarm jobs for holders • dev and marketing → No admin, no owner. Nothing can be changed after deploy.

We've updated si-md.xyz with a letter to our community explaining what happened with $SIMD. We're truly sorry to everyone who was affected. All SIMD functions are paused for now. Any decision about what happens next with SIMD will be announced from this account.

Quick update. The SIMD website is offline for now. It still has links and contracts from before, and I need to go through all of it before putting it back up. All the contracts will have to be created again from scratch.

The SIMD hackathon prize is cancelled. I'm really sorry to everyone who was building for it. I'm going to get some rest today. Tomorrow the website will be back up. Thanks for the support, it means a lot. 🙏
