Hosted a webinar for HLS . IL Israel startup community last week. The topic: how investors actually read your deck, and why most founders are fighting their own slides. The presentation itself? Built entirely through an AI pipeline I've been developing. Design tokens, layout grids, component library, all fed through Claude. One brief, finished deck. 28 slides. Research, psychology, before/after breakdowns, live examples. The whole thing was produced by the system I was teaching them to think about. That's the part I'm most proud of. Not the talk (though that went well). The fact that the tool I used to deliver it IS the thing I build for clients. I build presentation design systems for founders. You define the brand once, and every deck that comes out of it is consistent, ownable, and fast to produce. No more Canva templates that look like everyone else's Canva templates. If you're pitching investors and your deck doesn't feel like yours, let's talk. Link to the presentation is in the comments.

How many versions of your logo are floating around your team right now? If you're not sure, that's kind of the problem. I've seen this so many times. The "official" logo exists in about 12 slightly different versions across people's laptops. Different team members use different fonts because nobody's quite sure which one's correct. Every new social post becomes a design decision instead of just... making the post. And then there's the small stuff that adds up. Someone squeezes the logo to fit. Someone else drops the ™ symbol. The colours are "close enough." None of it is a big deal on its own — but together? It makes you look disorganised. Unprofessional. Like you're winging it. The thing is, it's not really anyone's fault. Someone designed a logo, maybe you got some brand colours, and then... that was it. Nobody built the system underneath. 67% of small businesses have inconsistent branding across platforms (buff.ly/elS3YtM). That's not a stat about bad design — it's a stat about missing infrastructure. The fix isn't another logo file. It's a brand kit that anyone on your team can actually use. If this sounds familiar, I'd be happy to chat about what a proper system looks like. No pressure either way.

This looks great! 'Wait, you're a startup?' I'm sure that's the reaction every early-stage founder wants to hear when first introducing your shiny new idea to the world. I work with startups to build complete brand systems: ✓ Brand kit with clear guidelines ✓ Pitch deck that actually impresses ✓ Social templates (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram) ✓ Email signatures that look polished ✓ One-pagers for sales and investor meetings Every touchpoint. One consistent identity. No more scrambling. No more 'just make it match.' Your team grabs a template they can actually use. Drops in new content. Ship it! You get to keep focus on growing. The brand handles itself across all touch points.

I've worked with 100's of brand kits. Here's what most startups get wrong: They design one thing. Then reinvent the wheel every time. New social post? Start from scratch. Pitch deck? Different fonts, different colors. Email newsletter? Doesn't match the website. The result? A brand that feels stitched together. Smart startups build ONCE and scale infinitely. → One brand kit → Templates for every touchpoint → Anyone on the team can create on-brand content in minutes That's not just efficient. That's how you look like you've been around for years. Want to see what a complete template system looks like?

Your startup's first impression happens way before your the investor meeting. Website. Socials. Email signatures. Pitch Decks, even the way you talk. Look established = get taken seriously. Look scrappy & disorganized = get passed over. Brand isn't fluff. It's credibility. Authority and consistency. These things matter to investors. Make every touchpoint count → simoncreates.me

Your startup looks like a startup. That's the problem. You've got the product. The vision. The hustle. But when investors check your website, your pitch deck, your LinkedIn... it looks like you built it last weekend. First impressions close deals. Or lose them. Startups that look established get taken seriously. The ones that don't? They get overlooked and forgotten. Your brand isn't just design — it's credibility and authority on autopilot. Are you ready to look the part? → Links in comments

What early-stage startups actually need (and what they usually skip): ✓ Brand Kit — So anyone can use the logo correctly ✓ Pitch Deck — That doesn't look like a template ✓ One-Pager — For every email follow-up ✓ Social Templates — For consistent presence I package all of this into one sprint. 2-3 weeks. $3,500-5,000. Everything editable. If your brand is still duct tape and borrowed slides — let's fix that. Link in comments.

Most statrup pitch decks don't fail because of bad design. They fail because: → The story doesn't build → There's too much on every slide → The ask is buried or unclear → It looks like a side project, not a company I'm offering Pitch Deck Audits for startups. $350. - 48 hours turnaround 15-20 min video walking through your deck slide by slide. Most templates leave you to figure out the rest. But not these foundational templates for @tana_inc. You are provided with documentation, and video demonstrations. They are a complete base layer you can build your own experience on top of. Also known as a foundational template—designed to give you a starting point, not another project to build from scratch. Instead of staring at a blank canvas, you get: ✓ A location based routing system (moving your important items to the right places) ✓ Commands and workflows you won't find in standard templates ✓ A framework that teaches you to organize by function, not arbitrary categories ✓ A dynamic prompt system to provide AI with even greater context. The core philosophy: Foundational templates are used as a base layer in order to plugin your own tags, processes, workflows and even other creators templates.. So you can spend time building YOUR system on top of a tried and tested solid foundation... not figuring out how to build the foundation itself. If you've been jumping between templates trying to find one that "clicks"... start with a real foundation. Here's what most people get wrong when working with AI. You're feeding it a bunch of chaos and expecting the perfect response in one shot. It usually doesn't quite work like that. AI will organize your mess, sure ✅ and help bring clarity, sure ✅. But you also need to be clear about your intentions and what your desired outcome should be. AI loves frameworks. It loves to follow the rules, and an example output will always go a long way. Because of this, I find myself using AI more and more as a sparring partner—a strategic thinking partner. Not something to do my work for me, but something to help accelerate my thoughts. But all this only works when the AI understands what you want, and it can take some time to establish that in a chat every time. This is why @strategic_nick and I built THE ROOMS in the Workspace Development Kit in @Tana_inc. It's a way to guide your PKM AI throughout all your processes and Supertags. When you pair this way of working—this infrastructure, guidance, and established flows—your productivity skyrockets with AI. The system works because it gives AI the structure it craves while giving you the clarity you need. Check out the links in the comments below, and reach out if you think we can help you build your system.

I'm very late to post about this but I felt it was worth a highlight since it was my biggest project last year. It was the second year running for Building Blocks - Israel's flagship Web3 conference. I uploaded the design project to my website a little while ago—and it's one of the most fun (and rewarding) projects I've done. Building Blocks is Tel Aviv's premier Web3 event. It's where founders, developers, and investors gather to shape the future of decentralized tech. The challenge? Create a timeless brand experience across every single touchpoint—digital, print, and physical. Here's what I delivered: Brand & Visual Identity: → A bold, modular visual system with custom illustrations → A versatile color palette that works across all mediums → A design language that stands out in a crowded tech landscape Digital: → A dynamic website with clear information architecture → Built for easy updates (agenda, speakers, sponsors) → Digital assets for social media and on-site screens Print & Physical: → Attendee name tags and credentials → Large-scale event signage and wayfinding → Environmental graphics for venue installation → Physical artwork with production-ready specifications The real challenge wasn't just design—it was coordination. Multiple stakeholders. Multiple suppliers. Multiple creative partners. Everything had to match perfectly. The digital screens had to align with the physical installations. The modular brand system had to work on a tiny name tag AND a massive 10-foot wall graphic. Every asset needed precise production specs. The result: ✓ Reinforced Building Blocks' position as an industry leader in Web3 ✓ Drove community buzz and increased attendee engagement ✓ Created a professional, high-end environment that elevated sponsorship value ✓ Set a new standard for regional event production and brand consistency This was the second year I designed and prepared print/digital assets for Building Blocks (2024 and now 2025). If you're running a conference, event, or experience that needs a brand system that actually works across every medium—from screens to signage to print materials... simoncreates.me/work/bb2025 Want to talk about your next event?
