Councils should not be running political campaigns.
Shell, with Headquarters in Lambeth, made £7.4 billion in 3 months 🤯 This is a climate emergency 🌍 We are asking Shell to contribute to Lambeth’s climate resilience plan, in proportion to its share of global emissions 💰 It's time they helped pay to protect Lambeth 🫵

It is genuinely wonderful that there are lots of new books about fairies I have it on good authority that the seelie court is grateful for this publicity
Chas makes an important point here - there’s such a volume of research now on fairies that the study of fairies should probably establish itself as a distinct field, wriggling free from folklore, literary studies, anomalistics and other fields in which it’s now subsumed

And when it's proved to be wrong it's called "political science"
The problem with “heterodox economics” is that when proven to be accurate it’s eventually just called “economics”

This is like a scene from a Neil Breen film.
The evidence of Israeli crimes just keeps piling up. Here's another totally unstaged clip of snipers hitting innocent Gazan kids, complete with zero sound effects and with the IDF soldiers clearly visible just out of frame💔

Correction: the last Conservative government made it impossible to build anything in London. The current Conservative leadership have no worthwhile proposals to put this right*. Get on with it. *nor does any other party

So what? Good result.

Just a tax on communists. That will sort it.
While I admire the public spiritedness of the people of Limoges this really should be paid for by fining and cutting benefits of everyone who rioted and their families.

Talking is not a secret concept available only to the elite. I'm all in favour of elocution lessons but can we not pretend that access to speech is the reserve of the "few" because it is rancid, divisive nonsense.

Every institution, every single one, now seems to be controlled by an enemy of the West. I think the least that should be asked is that the individuals who are engaged in this frenzy of destruction be named. Who desecrated the Kelvingrove in this way, and who appointed her?

Marxist eh what.

Upon reading countless replies, it’s clear none of you have the slightest understanding of Marx’s labor theory of value. I’ve read strawman after strawman. First off, the most common misconception is that prices are set by supply/demand as opposed to labor. Prices are not set by supply and demand. Supply/demand cause prices to fluctuate, and thus supply/demand explains deviations but not the levels prices settle at when supply/demand balance. When they cancel out, the labor socially required to produce an item explains price (of a car compared to a pencil for example). Secondly, the marginalism argument ignores the underlying social relations of production. Ignoring social relations seems to be a common theme amongst rightoids who seem to be unable to grasp the concept because they can’t think dialectically. Marginalism removes the question of where profit comes from and thus, ignores exploitation.

This fella isn't paying attention.
It’s amazing how not one person has refuted Marx in the thousands of interactions I’ve had on twitter. It’s always an attack on his background or lifestyle. I’ve yet to hear one good faith, well structured attempt at refuting Marxism or dialectical/historical materialism.

The sovereign wealth fund obsession is a stupid meme and anyone who brings it up as either a plausible or desirable counterfactual to the circumstances we faced is an idiot.

I keep getting YouTube ads from the Mormons, which is annoying on two levels. One is that I'm not a Mormon and have no interest in becoming one. The other is that if I die and the Mormons were right all along, I can hardly tell Joseph Smith that he should have sent me a sign.
