I remember when @JoelWebbon first started to rise in prominence his mantra was no enemies to the right. Many rejected that mantra (and for good reason). It should be obvious to Joel that there are issues with this from the many grotesque responses he gets from those further "right" than him yet he remains silent. Is that because he considers them friends (in at least his goal) or because he is scared of backlash from them if he pushes back on their rhetoric.

Looking back as a son who grew up with a great father I can't imagine growing up without him. As a father raising a son I can't imagine him growing up without me to guide him. Intentionally depriving a child of either of it's biological parents is wrong.
#LesbianMoms utterly bewildered by their son's longing for a father. How could this be?!? They have told him that he doesn't have a dad! He's in an affirming community that is undoubtably telling him that he's "very lucky" to have two moms. And yet he wants one anyway. Why is that? >> Because he is a human child. << And human children ache for both their mother and father. It doesn't matter how many "Tommy has two mommies" books you read to them. Nor the fact that it lists two women on his birth certificate. Nor that the Supreme Court declared men and women optional in the project of the family. Children come from a man and woman, want that man and that woman... and have a RIGHT to that man and that woman.

How dare we allow politics to shape our theology? Over the past ten years, I’ve watched Christians radically shift their theological beliefs in response to what they perceive as political crises. Initially, I saw this among friends who went “woke” in the wake of Trayvon Martin’s death, Ferguson, and Donald Trump’s 2016 election. I watched Christians like Russell Moore, Thabiti Anyabwile, and Lecrae shift their theological emphasis to align with the political crises of the day. We were no longer brothers and sisters in Christ, living out our faith together. Instead, we were increasingly divided into black and white, with a new emphasis on social justice. The gospel was displaced by activism. Equal weights and measures were abandoned in favor of tipping the scales toward the “marginalized.” Theology was no longer primarily about what was true or false, but about what was considered white or black. We were told to move away from “white” theology and embrace “black” theology. This shift wasn’t driven by Scripture. It was driven by politics. Theology was being reshaped to accommodate newly adopted political convictions. More recently, I’ve witnessed a similar shift among other Christians, but in the opposite political direction. Since COVID-19 and the George Floyd riots of 2020, followed by an aggressive push for DEI policies and anti-white discrimination, I’ve watched men like @JoelWebbon, @Eric_Conn, and @Brian_Suave make similar adjustments to their theology in response to a different political crisis. Now, the emphasis is on prioritizing white identity and heritage. Joel Webbon, for example, once said he would rejoice if his daughter married a godly black man. More recently, he has expressed opposition to that possibility, citing his preference for grandchildren who look like him. This represents a significant shift in how he approaches questions of race and marriage, seemingly to accommodate a particular political outlook. Just as with the previous movement, this shift does not appear to be driven primarily by Scripture. Instead, it seems to begin with reading other materials to understand and respond to a perceived political crisis, followed by adjusting theological convictions to fit the resulting worldview. This helps explain the renewed interest by men like @Dalepartridge in arguments surrounding the Curse of Ham and appeals to “natural order of love” to justify racial separation, even among Christians. I’ve been grieved by both movements. I’ve watched Christians who once appeared biblically sound gradually drift toward ethnic tribalism and idolatry as politics increasingly shapes their convictions. What’s particularly astonishing is that many of these people, now divided by seemingly irreconcilable views on race and politics, would have been worshipping in the same churches and doing life together just ten years ago. Unfortunately, they've allowed the cares of the world to divide them. There is something to be said for Christians who plant their feet firmly in the truth of Scripture and refuse to be moved by the shifting winds of the world. Martin Luther famously declared: “I am bound by the Scriptures I have quoted. My conscience is captive to the Word of God...Here I stand. I cannot do otherwise. God help me. Amen.” I pray that these men will return to the truth of Scripture. I pray they will recognize that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood and, therefore, must not adopt the weapons of the world under the guise of fighting for Christ. “Be careful that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deceit based on human tradition, based on the elements of the world, rather than Christ.” — Colossians 2:8 We need men who refuse to compromise, no matter how tempting it may be to gain power by employing the methods of the world. We cannot advance God’s kingdom or build a better society by appealing to ethnic tribalism, whether it comes in the form of social justice ideology or white Christian nationalism. The temptation is the same in both cases: to allow a political movement to dictate our theological convictions rather than allowing Scripture to govern our political engagement and how we view and treat fellow believers. When that happens, we risk exchanging biblical truth for the approval of our political allies and the promise of worldly power. We become convinced that the end justifies the means. There are certain biblical truths in which I believe are crucial for the times we are living in. We must plant our feet and refuse to move: Church over tribe. (Mark 3:31-35) Equal weights and measures over partiality. (Leviticus 19:15) Faithfulness over pragmatism. (1 Corinthians 4:1-2) Scripture as the final authority. (2 Timothy 3:16) These are not merely slogans. They are commitments that must govern how we think, how we live, and how we relate to our brothers and sisters in Christ. Our allegiance to Christ must take precedence over our allegiance to any political movement, racial identity, or cultural cause. Paul reminds us of the goal of Christian maturity and unity in Ephesians 4:11–16: “11 And he himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ, 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of God’s Son, growing into maturity with a stature measured by Christ’s fullness. 14 Then we will no longer be little children, tossed by the waves and blown around by every wind of teaching, by human cunning with cleverness in the techniques of deceit. 15 But speaking the truth in love, let us grow in every way into him who is the head—Christ. 16 From him the whole body, fitted and knit together by every supporting ligament, promotes the growth of the body for building itself up in love by the proper working of each individual part.” — Ephesians 4:11–16 The church must not be tossed about by every political crisis, ideological trend, or cultural movement. We must grow in discernment, remain grounded in the Word of God, and speak the truth in love. Our unity is found in Christ, not in a shared ethnicity or political agenda. May we have the courage to stand firm in Scripture, even when doing so costs us influence, popularity, political allies, our culture, and even our country. Let us refuse to exchange the truth of God’s Word for the fleeting promises of worldly power. And may we never forget that our first allegiance is to Christ and His kingdom, not to a tribe, culture, heritage, or political movement.

There is no genocide in Gaza. The people are not the target. Hamas is the target. There would be no destruction in Gaza if not for October 7, and there would be far fewer casualties if Hamas terrorists fought like men, instead of starting a war by gunning down civilians and then hiding behind their own like cowards. And it would have ended a long time ago had they cared about the cost of their refusal to release the hostages and surrender. But they don't care. They care far less about their own children than Israel does, which is why they have children carry their weapons through the streets, knowing Israel will abort their strikes when children are in view.

Said Abdelrazek converted from Islam to Christianity and wasnt ashamed ✝️ For that, Egypt locked him in 10th of Ramadan Prison. He was hung in a crucifixion position so guards and inmates could mock him. They removed a cross tattoo off his body. He still would not recant. On July 15, 2025, they arrested him againthis time for trying to change his ID to match his faith. The charge: terrorism. The real reason: he left Islam. His health is collapsing. Medical care is being withheld. His next hearing is October 21, 2026. That date could decide whether he lives or disappears💔 This is not terrorism. This is apostasy treated as a national-security crime. Remember those in prison as if you were there with them. (Hebrews 13:3) Demand his release. Share his name. Do not let this stay quiet. #FreeSaidAbdelrazek #ReligiousFreedom #ChristianPersecutionShorter Said Abdelrazek is in an Egyptian prison because he became a Christian. They hung him in a crucifix position. They tried to remove his cross tattoo. Now they call it “terrorism.” Hearing: October 21, 2026. He could face death or life in prison in only 18 days!! Stand with our brother in Christ ✝️ If not now when ? #FreeSaidAbdelrazek #EndChristianPersecution

Before You Talk About Israel: Eight Things to Know (1) It was not an “Arab country.” In 1917 this was not a sovereign Arab nation-state but an Ottoman province with mixed populations—Arabs, Jews, Christians, Druze, Bedouin, Circassians, Armenians, Greeks, and others. Calling it “an Arab country” imposes a later nationalist framing onto a multiethnic administrative district that had never been an Arab state. (2) Jews were not “dumped down” as aliens. Jews had lived in the land continuously for thousands of years. Zionism didn’t implant a foreign population; it reassembled an indigenous one whose presence never ceased. (3) Jewish refugees did not displace Arabs by conquest. Before statehood, Jewish immigrants weren’t clearing villages by force. They bought land legally—often at high prices—from Arab and Turkish absentee landlords, and built on legally acquired property. The early Yishuv expanded through real estate and agriculture, not expulsion. (4) Arab displacement happened during wars of annihilation launched by Arab armies. The major dislocations of Arabs occurred during the wars of 1947–48, 1967, and 1973—wars initiated by surrounding Arab countries whose leaders explicitly sought to destroy the Jewish state. These were not imperial expansionist projects by Israel; they were defensive wars triggered by existential threats. Civilian flight, expulsions, and chaos happened in that context, not because Jews “arrived.” (5) About 20% of Israel’s citizens today are Arab. Roughly one-fifth of Israel’s population is Arab—mostly Muslim, with Christian and Druze minorities—with full citizenship, voting rights, legal equality, and representation in parliament. This reality contradicts the claim that Zionism aims to expel Arabs from the land. (6) Israel has repeatedly traded land won in defensive wars for peace. After 1967, Israel controlled Sinai, Gaza, the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Golan Heights. It later returned the entire Sinai Peninsula to Egypt in a land-for-peace treaty and fully withdrew. It did the same with Jordan in 1994. This is not the posture of a state committed to permanent conquest. (7) Israel has accepted multiple two-state proposals. From the 1947 UN Partition Plan, to Camp David in 2000, to the Clinton Parameters, to Olmert’s 2008 offer, Israel repeatedly accepted frameworks that would have created a Palestinian state. Palestinian leadership either rejected or let each one collapse. (8) Israel literally left Gaza in 2005. In 2005, Israel removed every soldier and every settler from Gaza—dismantling 21 settlements—in a unilateral move intended to create space for peace and Palestinian self-governance. What followed was Hamas’s violent takeover and a permanent rocket war.

At the airport, watching a dad with his probably seven-month-old. He has her in the air, shifting her around mechanically, like a robot. She’s kicking her legs and squealing. Mom comes back from the bathroom and immediately straps the baby to her chest. She leans in and snuggles. Nobody tells Dad to engage in stimulating play with his child. Nobody tells Mom to pull her close and soothe her. They interact with the same child differently because men and women are different. Children don't need two adults tossing them in the air. They don't need two parents soothing and comforting them. All stimulation and no security leaves them unmoored; all comfort and no challenge leaves them afraid to venture out. Children need one parent who promotes attachment and one parent who promotes independence. Children need a mother and a father. A culture that treats either one as optional asks children to go without so adults can feel affirmed.

Liars All of them are liars The government who deny the reality of sex based biology The parliament that legislates laws that defy reality The courts that uphold the lies and punish people for not adhering to the lies The media who repeat the lies The medical practitioners who proscribe treatments that deceive people into thinking they can change sex but never will Parents and carers who lie to precious, vulnerable children and tell them they were born in the wrong body School staff keeping secrets from parents, lying to children about their ability to change sex, forcing the unwilling to comply. They are all liars!

The governance model I heard described and championed in the podcast Alisa is referencing is both unbiblical and has features found in the NAR movement governance model that have caused spiritual, emotional, mental and physical harm.
Since this post by @howertonjosh post is about me, I'll offer a few thoughts. -I did not share false accusations. I shared a 3 minute clip from a longer podcast (that I have encouraged people to watch in order to get the full context) and observed that what they laid out as a leadership structure is precisely how NAR churches are defined. The entire podcast is oriented around setting up a leadership structure that protects the pastor, not the sheep. I'll link that again in comments. -I do believe what was shared on that podcast is spiritually dangerous and I would encourage every Christian to listen to the whole thing and compare it with the biblical qualifications for elders. -Some of you are expressing disappointment in my ministry focus as of late, and I truly do understand. And I say this earnestly...if some of my work has been helpful to you, I praise God for that. But if you feel you need to move on at this point, I truly bless you to do that. But I am not going to stop. NAR is one of the greatest threats to the gospel in this moment in church history. NAR leaders almost never announce themselves as such. Many don't even realize they've been sucked in. They almost always deny that NAR even exists. But you can ask the thousands of people who have been burned by this movement that it is indeed, very real. -Do I think Howerton is NAR? I truly hope not. I am praying that if he isn’t, he will step away from guys like McPherson, repudiate what was taught in that podcast, and call out false teachers like Paula White and Mark Driscoll instead of defending them. I would be the first in line to cheer him on. -I am taking my daughter on her birthday trip so I will be out of pocket for a couple days, so I won't be able to engage much here. But I didn't want to leave this without a response. 🙏

Dodgeball Champion 2026: @SenatorWong
SEX-BASED RIGHTS 💜🤍💚 Women have spent years fighting for our sex-based rights. This is not a “stunt” nor “division”. In the Senate, @SenatorCash asked @SenatorWong this question: “Why does Prime Minister Albanese continue to oppose legislation that would protect the (sex based) rights of biological women and girls in female-only spaces, including change rooms, bathrooms, sporting competitions and domestic violence refuges?” Wong did not answer. 😑 A string of platitudes about respect, equality, dignity, women in Cabinet, the National Plan, the pay gap, overseas aid and the International Day of the Girl Child is not an answer to “these issues”. 🙅‍♀️ None of these are substitutes, NONE OF IT MATTERS directly to women and girls no longer having the legal right to segregate by sex in female only spaces, services and sports, for their safety, privacy and dignity. ‼️@salltweets should not have had to fight for years in court to regain this legal right for women and girls, a right parliament must now fix.‼️ Without we DO NOT have equality in society. TAKE US WOMEN SERIOUSLY! 🙏💪💜 Why does Prime Minister @AlboMP oppose this? Write to your senators and your MP. Ask the question Labor will not answer: Will you fix the SDA so female means female? aph.gov.au/Senators_and_Memb… #FixTheSDA 💜🤍💚
