ALT The 2013 Commonwealth Fund Overall Healthcare Rankings. The UK’s public system was ranked 1 overall. The privatised US system was ranked last overall. Private healthcare is always worse for patients and worse for the taxpayer. You don’t need a new system. You need a new government that won’t catastrophically defund the NHS.
