Reform sinking in the opinion polls.. Even the activists starting to walk away.. Looks a lot like Tory Party Conference
'There were about 60 to 70 empty seats.' Reform announced their 'teal budget' today - @NatashaC reports on her experience in the hall.

This is somewhere between deeply irresponsible and a lie. HMRC will be able to "seize money" from people who owe tax, aren't disputing it, but just fail to pay. That's people who cause the rest of us to pay more tax.
Under Labour, HMRC will reach into your bank account and seize your money. Under Reform, you’ll get a £30 rebate if HMRC leave you stuck on the phone for 30 mins.

You meet people like this all the time in politics. Products of their echo chambers, sneering at anyone who doesn’t share their po-faced, joyless view of the world. The PM went on a show that many people love, it was fun and it raised money for a cancer charity. Good for him.
'Is that a really good use of his time?' 'Raising money for a cancer charity?' The Green Party's @floschechter brands Andy Burnham going on Gogglebox as 'ridiculous'.

No, @elonmusk, the U.S. stopped funding Ukraine last year. In fact, U.S. companies make money on American weapons for which we Europeans pay. The more you meddle in our politics and the more you play politics with your products, the more you damage your brand.
Replying to @elonmusk
And some of that US taxpayer money comes back through multiple laundry machines to fund political campaigns in America, which is why you see some politicians caring more about Ukraine than America!

Solar panels on land we desperately need for food sustainability is utterly ridiculous.. I hope we see a shift in this very soon
🗣️ Your thoughts on solar panels on farmland have been heard loud and clear! Following the interview with @VictoriaAtkins about her Private Member's Bill to protect national food security, @SophyRidgeSky asked you for your thoughts...

President Putin is a murderer. His soldiers use rape as a weapon. He has launched wars costing thousands of lives. His agents have stolen children and destroyed families. Russia today is what President Reagan correctly called it: the evil empire.
Steve Witkoff to Putin: You talk so much about my president, President Trump, being a humanitarian. You are a humanitarian also, sir, and I salute that, I commend you, and I thank you again.

Tens of thousands, possibly hundreds of thousands, of Ukrainian children have been forced into Russia and this boot-licking spiv rolls out the tongue once more for “humanitarian” Putin. Infamy
🤕 Witkoff called Putin a humanitarian and thanked him again…

And here you have it. What’s the problem with the police investigating journalists. So what if they’ve done nothing wrong. Literally the argument from a banana republic or Stalin’s Russia.
So, why are lefty journalists and commentators angry at Reform UK for reporting ITV to the police ? If they’ve done nothing wrong, they’ll be cleared right? There’s some SERIOUS allegations , why wouldn’t you not want them investigated?…

As I predicted. Reform get caught bang to rights. Is their response to hold up their hands? Nope. It's to dial 999 and send the police after the journalists who dared to expose them.

Absolutely right.. we are toast if we don’t act now
Wrote for @LabourList on why I think it’s time to put tariffs on Chinese EVs to protect the UK automotive manufacturing base TLDR: our industry is being eaten alive by state subsidised cheap Chinese EVs, and we should act with our EU friends

This is why you never ask a TV star about things
“Putin will go nuclear before he gives up.” Dragons’ Den star @FarleighRichard says that it may not be palatable, but Ukraine will have to accept a deal with Russia, because ‘the West won’t win this war’. @IainDale

Oh look.. an international Treaty signed by the USA
In 1994, Ukraine gave up the world’s third-largest nuclear arsenal on America’s word. This month, the president traded that word for a diesel deal with Putin. Watch what he does for Putin. It shows what he wants to do with his power over you. 👇🏼

This guy is lying.. and he knows he is
Rubio: The war in Ukraine is about one region, Donetsk. Russia occupies all but about 11% of it. Ukraine's line there is its last defensible one: beyond it, a straight shot into Kyiv. Russia demands all of Donetsk, including that line, as its definition of victory. 1/

Ten years ago today. In just the last few days: Trump made a deal for the U.S. to buy Russian diesel, an economic lifeline for Putin; he and Elon Musk blamed each other for an order that slowed down Starlink satellite connectivity over Ukraine, hampering the country's defenses during a devastating Russian attack; and Trump waived sanctions on Russia that Congress, led by his late friend Lindsey Graham, had pushed for. Now, Putin has proposed a summit with Trump and Xi to decide Ukraine’s fate for them, bulldoze a century of international cooperation, and frame Russia as an equal to the U.S. and China. We’ll see if Putin’s puppet continues to dance on his strings.
