Unfortunately a lot of the conservative and Christian right has been hijacked by people whose main drive is grifting. They love to profit off people’s flesh & fears. They cater to emotions like the left does & claim to have the solution — wickedness in Christian language.

Change can be painful and hard. Realizing old patterns that need to be crucified can be overwhelming and ridden with grief. But you still have to act. You are still responsible of how to respond. For God’s glory. With His help.

Christian nationalism assumes that government leaders would be Christian. That’s not even realistic in a small office. Even if someone starts out Christian, greed for power is likely as human nature has revealed. Who would gatekeep what and how? Current leaders are ungodly.
