The two parties met on the margins of the recently concluded Eighty-First Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA81) for the Seventh Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of CARICOM and India.
The Meeting, co-chaired by the Honourable Melvin Bouva, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Business and Cooperation of the Republic of Suriname and Chair of the Council for Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR), and H.E. Dr S. Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of India, reviewed the state of CARICOM-India relations.
