I see a lot of people feeling sorry for Jason Pickard, or saying that he seems like he cared about Sandra. Do not feel sorry for him. He says Sandra was his friend. Men, especially married men, are not randomly friends with young, single women. And they certainly are not having sex with them. So no he was not her friend. If he was her friend, he would have reported that she was groomed and coerced by a much older police officer for many years. He admits that he didn’t report it for reasons of self preservation. He only cared about himself. He did not care about Sandra. I’m not sure there was one other person in the world that truly cared about Sandra. Not in life and not in death. A real tragedy.

When you really stop to think about what Matthew Farwell did that night to Sandra...
1) He made her feel like he was doing something SHE wanted by coming over to her house that night
2) He knew, after years of grooming, that she would give him anything to make him happy in that moment... so that meant one last opportunity to get off.
3) She was on "pelvic rest", had recently been texting him about a*al and in an effort to submit to his alter sexual ego, "Joey", she likely gave him what he wanted that night, not thinking twice about him choking her, like he's done so many times in the past.
4) But this time, he didn't stop choking her. Which probably got him off even more. He hung her from the closet, walked out thinking he had solved his problem, Joey got off one more time, and then he left to go to the hospital to witness his third son being born. His third son... who he named Joey.
So sick on so many levels. Bury him under the prison.
