Sometimes it’s hard to watch the old videos of America.
The decline is so slow you don’t notice it in your daily life, but stretch it across decades and the trajectory is impossible to miss.
Michigan was one of the strongest states in the country, and Detroit one of the richest cities on earth, and decades of political failure later the endpoint is people like Abdul running for Senate.
Michigan needs a renaissance. That only happens by rediscovering what made it great in the first place.
